The Chaco Men's Z/2 Yampa Sandal is an adventure sandal with a lightweight sole. The same favorite webbing as the Classics wraps around your big toe and top of your foot, with your own personal customization of course. Wear 'em loose or wear 'em tight, either way the LUVSEAT footbed will support the natural curves of your foot for a long day of outdoor fun. The Yampa outsole is non-marking and the star of this show, as it keeps the weight down so you don't feel like you're dragging along at the end of the day. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 3 season shoes What is there to say about Chacos? They are somewhat overhyped, but they definitely deserve 90% of the praise they get. I held out a long time before finally buying some last year. After a year of pretty frequent wear they show little, um, wear. The straps occasionally rub, especially if they're wet. But it's not frequently a problem. The soles are very supportive. I can wear these all day and feel great. I've found that they're not great for me for hiking, but a friend did the whole AT in Chacos--so go figure. ,,,,If you're thinking about buying them then you should buy them. If you're not thinking of buying them, then you should think of buying them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I cant stop wearing these sandals The first time I saw these shoes they looked a little odd and the toe loop seemed a little sketchy (I had a bad experience when I was young with a cheap toe loop) but when you slip these bad boys on and adjust the webbing to fit your foot it couldn't be more solid. The custom fit attaches the vibram sole to your foot and will never let it go making you feel like you can go where you want whenever you want. These sandals are incredibly comfy and half the time i forget I'm wearing them. All in all if your looking for a comfortable, durable, and very versatile anytime (other than cold time) shoe then look no further. Live long and prosper fellow adventurers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The class of the class These are the sandals against which all others are measured. The footbed is comfortable, supportive, and long-wearing. The Vibram soles can be replaced by Chaco for $40. The webbing system is genius -- don't stop adjusting until the fit is perfect and you'll never have to adjust again. Some may gripe that they're "too expensive," but that seems absurd to me. The competitors' shoes wear out faster, are flimsy by comparison, use Velcro that needs to be replaced often, and can't be resoled. In the long run, Chacos are vastly better footwear, easier on the environment, and really less expensive than the "inexpensive" competitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy these sandals! I've worn a variety of Teva sandals before I decided to buy my Yampas and I'm totally stoked that I made the switch. I've worn my Chacos around town, commuting on my bike, at work, in class, on dates, hiking, and to the rock wall. They're super sexy and definitely durable.,,,,I can now understand how people get 5+ years out of a pair of Chacos. I was so impressed I also purchased a pair of the men's Toe Coop closed toed shoes for when it gets colder.,,,,I would suggest these sandals to anyone interested in a durable, sexy pair of sandals. If you're looking for a minimalist shoe, these are not for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 years and still my goto shoe/sandal I wore these on backpacking trips on the AT, Peru, work and every camping trip. Never thought I could stand the strap between the toes, but once my toes hardened to it(yes a bit sore). I would wear these on any slope or surface. I also had the TEVA's and they never had that secure feeling these give when hiking. I believe the toe strap is the reason for that secure feel. So if they are sore around the toe for a while and you can’t take it, then take up basket weaving. So until the next wonder shoe comes through, I will stick with these.,,Wish they had a bike clip version,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Won't Be Sorry.... Unless You're Just One of Those People Who Always Are So if you are looking for the a really comfortable, durable sandal that you never have to break in... you've found it. They give you support and comfort without looking like your grandpa's Hush Puppies. I have had two pair and have never regretted either purchase. I get lots of compliments and inquiries as to what they are and where they come from. They are just the best of the best. That's really all there is to it. Chaco is extremely accurate on sizing so take advantage of their chart and descriptions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from High quality, just not for me. I know that Chaco sandals are praised as the Messiah of sandals, here to save our feet from sin, but they just don't do it for me. They are built well out of quality materials, but I am not a fan of the really thick sole. It feels like I'm wearing platform shoes when I put on my chacos, and I can't stand how bulky they feel on my feet. I prefer Teva.
