so greatAlthough they took some getting use to, these are the best footwear ever. I got a pair, bu wasnt really feelin em for a while, then i went on a backpacking trip in europe and decided to give these a go. they were the only pair of shoes i packed for the whole trip. it was awesome. they have the support of a hiking boot, and the freedom of flip flops. i would recomend easing your way in to them, as youll need to develop some caluses around some of the straps...for me it was around the buckles. ,,but i have discovered that by owning these, i need not another pair of shoes. they are so versatile and sturdy!,,its a big investment for a pair of sandals..but all in all definately worthit

I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants comfort and style at the same time.I bought these shoes for myself locally and on Moosejaw for my son to take to Greece for 2 weeks of touring around ancient ruins, Greek islands, beaches, volcanoes well, one volcano, and yes, it IS active!, and lots of hills, steps, and rocky terrain. These Chacos never failed my son or me once. Not only did my little well, not so little, but, well, anyway tootsies feel cool and confortable the entire trip, but my shoes looked great w/ the sundresses I wore while keeping cool in the 100+ degree Greek weather...the Aegean Sea breeze helped too, of course. As for my son, he rarely took his shoes off, even when walking through the water at the beach. They can be worn while hiking or even di

Misleading information.I am not scheduled to receive these sandals until April 17. When I ordered them on April 5, late in the evening, the basket showed that they would be shipped on April 6, a Thursday. They were listed as "in stock."
After I completed my purchase, my confirmation info. showed that they sandals wouldn't be shipped until April 10, Monday. And I was to receive them on April 17.
I must say that I am a little disappointed in MJ for this. I shouldn't have been led to think that they would ship the next day. For most Internet orders I place, I "receive" the items in the amount of time it took MJ to "ship" it. And going by what the description showed, it appeared that it would b

Best Sandal on the market! This is my second pair of Chacos and this pair is even more amazing than the first. That accomplishment is a feat in itself as I really didn't see many ways for Chaco to improve what was already the best sandal on the market. However, they've done just that! These sandals are so comfortable that they're the only thing I ever wear if at all possible. It just recently has been dropping down into the 20's, temperature wise, so I fear I'll have to shelf them for a little while. However, I wore them for everything from fly fishing in the local rivers to hiking to everyday wear around town. Not only are they lighter on the feet, you can also tell a difference when they're in a pack while you

If I were to kill a bear, I would not only be wearing chaco's i would use them, to do the deed.I recently traveled many miles to visit a moosejaw store, upon which the moosejawan people convinced me chacos were the ultimate footwear. I bought them, i walked in them, i've swam in them, i've hiked now multiple three day backpacking trips wearing only them. I told my girlfriend i might break up with her for them, i told my car it was no longer needed, chacos could take me there, probably faster too. Chaco's are extremely comfortable footwear, with warm socks i've worn them all winter. They still look brand new, they are truly one of a kind. High quality, fashionable and very very simple.

Cool sandals. I dig them. They are faithful, trustworthy, and comfortable.I bought these sandals for hiking around Israel. It’s pretty hot there this time of year and I wanted my feet to be comfortable. I wanted to feel the wind on my piggies. I packed my sandals in my suitcase, which did not arrive in Israel the same day I did. I walked around Israel in my old, worn, bargain priced gym shoes. My piggies were not happy. All they felt was sweat. Three days into my trip, there was a knock at my hotel door. My trusty, faithful sandals had found me. They had crossed the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean on their own. How do I know? I found traces of Atlantic salt, seaweed, and sand in the crevices. There were bruises, since healed, where they fought off sharks. We

First pair: 7 years, just got my second pair. The only downside to these is that they are now sourced from foreign soil. Oh well, so is everything else. ,,,,These sandals wear like nobody's business. I ran the first pair for 7 years before they finally blew out. Every day hiking, bike touring, kayaking, or mowing the lawn. They have proven themselves worthy of their reputation. The thick sole is great for hiking or river walking, offers great 'bottom of foot' (there's probably a medical word for that) protection so your feet don't get bruised. ,,,,Best of all, you get a Z shaped tan from them! How cool is that! ,,,,

They can't cook or clean house, but they're a great sandalIf you're considering buying these Chacos, STOP! I mean stop thinking about it and buy them. If you like hiking or taking long walks, these are the best sandals to do that. If your feet swell, the Chacos are fully adjustable. You may have so much fun playing with them, though, that you forget to continue on your hike and then it will get dark and you'll get lost and the sandals do not have a compass built in to help find your way. They have great arch support and non-slip soles. They couldn't be better other than being able to cook and clean your house.
