Expect a sandal that cups your foot, has arch support, is soft yet does not sponge when you walk. The sole is vibram so expect it to grip well and last yet it is not light. They run true to size. Don't expect them to change as you wear them. I have had mine for over a year with lots of use and they wear and look about the same as when I bought them. If they pinch on the outside where the strap attaches to base when you buy them on your foot they will pinch there after 1000 miles. Don't let that scare you as I have purchased them as gifts for 8 of my friends and only one of them had them pinch. The others wear them.

I have had mine over a year. Wear them down on the sand, they get wet and then dry. The leather is still ok even after my abuse. Have many miles on them and still fit the way they were when I bought them. So don't expect them to change as you wear them. They don't wear and break down like other sandals. They are heavy due to the vib. soles compared to the your foam $1.99 disposable thongs. They run true to size. They do cup your foot and have arch support so they fit differently then other flap flippers.

Notice the materials used. Exquisite Quality. Fashioned for function. Great job Chaco! The design provides comfort, block after block, and mile after mile. Listen to your feet they are they worthy.
