Simple curves hold your foot where it should be on the sandal. If you are looking for a flat fiip flop or one you are not going to lose boating this is not your product. It is contoured to your foot providing arch support like no other sandal on the market. Notice on the sizing chart come in whole size steps. If between sizes round up. I found that the toe portion curves in quite fast and was worried that my big strait toe would drag. The contoured sides hold your foot centered and this has not been a problem. The smooth bed allows sand to clear on the next step. Love the vib sole and love the look/ feel of real leather. Hope this helps.

These are great. The vibram sole provides excellent support, even when wearing for long periods of time. The bottoms of my feet don't rub, due to the perfectly smooth footbed. Very comfortable.
