The Cassin Piu 2 Belay Device by Camp USA. Similar design to the Piu with the addition of a second carabiner hole to make lowering a second who is weighting the rope easier. Simply clip a carabiner in (specifically designed for the CAMP HMS Nitro and HMS Compact carabiners) and use it as a lever to gradually release tension. The teeth have been optimized for a wide range of rope diameters so climbers can use the same device whether they are rapping fat single lines or catching falls on skinny twin ropes.

Auto-locking when belaying one or two climbers on top rope
Ideal combination with CAMP Nitro or HMS Compact locking carabiners
Diagonal cable prevents the rope from rubbing and jamming

There is simply no better hex on the market,,The combined traditional hexagonal shape on one side and curve on the other means you have more placement options than any other hex available. I often carry the big sizes on alpine climbs, where I know they will withstand a considerable amount of bashing when hammering them in and out of the icy cracks. Not only do they place easily but also the colors make them easy to identify when searching for the right size. ,,,,**Fabrizio Zangrilli is a CAMP sponsored athlete who tests the gear over hundreds of miles of technical climbing each year. This is one of many pieces of CAMP gear that have passed his test. Learn more about Fabrizio by visiting the athletes section at CAMP-USA.com.,,
