CARHARTT FIT GUIDE and INFO

*Measure over your undergarments for best results

CHEST: Measure under your arms and across your shoulder blades while holding the tape firm and level. If your chest measurement is between sizes, buy the next size up.

WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, this time keeping the tape comfortably loose.

INSEAM: Measure pants that fit you well. Lay them on a flat surface, with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from the crotch to bottom of leg hem. You can also measure the correct inseam length without pants by measuring from your crotch to the pant length you would prefer.

TALL SIZES: For Carhartt's tall sizes, the garments are two inches longer in the length and sleeve than their regular size garments.

Regular, Short, and Tall Sizes
FIND YOUR HEIGHT: Recommended Length of Garment Length of Coverall Inseam
5'3" - 5'7" Short (Available in Coveralls only) 28"

Differences Between Regular and Tall Sizing

Coveralls: The tall sizes are 1" longer than regular sizes, the tall sleeve lengths are 1" longer than regular sleeve lengths, and the short sleeve lengths are 1" shorter than regular sleeve lengths. This DOES NOT apply to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survivor Seriously.. if I'm working outside On the house or with my motorcycles or someones scooters or doing active stuff I only wear Carhartt. Because I ride a bike in marathon level riding and practice kung fu, I'm flexible.. and my gluteus maximus (butt) is.. round (muscular) and right now I have like 6 pairs of brand name blue jeans that have all ripped out in the same place.. even though they are different brands.. right in the butt, but these Carhartt I've had for like four years and worn them doing everything in them. They are soo strong its the only trouser that have not ripped in that place.. or anywhere else for that matter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best work pants E V E R! Absolutely the best value. I service commercial irrigation systems and I am very, very tough on pants. I bought 3 pair of these dungarees a month ago because the pants from my company's uniform supplier rarely last much more than a few months. Rips, tears, PVC glue and everything else that I do to them leave them exhausted quickly. After a month of two washes a week these dungarees look brand new. No rips, no tears and when you use PVC primer to clean off dried PVC glue there is no stain or color change in the pants at all. I just bought 4 more pair tonight and expect these pants will last me for years, not the 3 to 4 months from the uniform company pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved By My New ducks This past October I doned my brand new pair of B11s and headed out to a customers house to continue to clear some under brush and cut down a few tree - I had debated wearing them cuz the were brand new and the woods was full of mud. Half way through the day I slipped chain saw running slow, the chain banged into my thigh and immediately tore into my brand new ducks, it hurt like crazy, I was afraid to looks. I shut off the saw, took a breath, I had a hug gap in my ducks, and a wade of them was stuck in the chain, my leg was full of scratches and black and blue where the ducks pinched - today, I exlusively were my ducks on the job - Thanks Carhartt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The greatest summer work pants I'll apologize in advance for the long-winded review, I am absolutely fanatical about my Carhartt's. All told,I have eleven pairs of Carhartt pants, this style is my favourite summer pant. They are comparatively light, cooler, and immediately comfortable all the while maintaining their famous durability. As a carpenter, I feel I am particularly hard on clothing, abrading them with lumber, concrete, metal components and chemicals on a daily basis. My Carhartt products haven't ever disappointed me in the 23 years I have been using them. Carhartt in an investment that pays dividends year after year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Pants... Ever! These are by far my favorite pants. I wear these everyday at work, at home, working on my truck and tractors, hanging with friends, everywhere! They are the toughest pants ever and they just never wear out. I have owned pairs for 6 years and they still look/ work like they are brand new. Everyone I work with uses this pants and will never switch to anything else. They saved me from stitches once when a rusty edge on a crane tore the seat of my pants for about 5 inches. I had a small scrape on my rear but I took my pants to a tailor, he sewed the pants together and I still wear them to this day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from God made these pants! these are the best pants in the world! i bought my first pair 2 years ago and wore them every day at work, where they received a beating. i have since bought more pairs and love them. i am 6'4" with a 36" inseem and these are pretty much the only pants that fit me comfortably. i love how if they get snagged on something, a little tear does not turn into a big hole like it does with jeans. also, in the summer time they are not too hot even when its 115 degrees. these pants have recieved their fair share of snags, grease, chemicals, dirt, and other grime and still have held up. love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most paint resistant pants I've worn I work at Sherwin-Williams so it isn't unusual to get paint on my clothes. Ever since we quit getting Dickies every year I held out and finally bought a pair of B11s. Within two weeks a quart was knocked over onto my pants drenching my left leg in BAC colarant and latex paint. We weren't too busy so I took them home and washed them in my bathtub to get the paint off then put them in the washing machine and now you can barely see any remnants on the paint. My old Dickies khakis would have held that stain a lot more than these. Worth every dollar I spent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fake pocket, great pants. These pants are very tough. I have but one complaint. The right side carpenter style pocket is not two pockets, it's only one with a fake top. Yes they do give you a nice left side pocket under the hammer loop that most other pant makers don't give you. But really, a fake pocket? What good is that? And, as for the color names... Petroleum Blue? NO! They're gray... Yes... Gray... OK, that was two complaints. The watch pocket is real and they are very tough and I'm sure they will hold up.
