• Please note that if your chest and/or waist measurements are in between sizes, you should buy the larger size. It is also wise to double check the product description of the shirt you are buying to determine the fit. Sorry to be so bossy.

*Measure over your undergarments for best results

CHEST: Measure under your arms and across your shoulder blades while holding the tape firm and level. If your chest measurement is between sizes, buy the next size up.

WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, this time keeping the tape comfortably loose.

INSEAM: Measure pants that fit you well. Lay them on a flat surface, with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from the crotch to bottom of leg hem. You can also measure the correct inseam length without pants by measuring from your crotch to the pant length you would prefer.

TALL SIZES: For Carhartt's tall sizes, the garments are two inches longer in the length and sleeve than their regular size garments.

Differences Between Regular and Tall Sizing

Outerwear, Long-Sleeve Shirts, and Sweats: The tall sizes are 2" longer than regular sizes and the tall sleeve lengths are 2" longer than regular sleeve lengths. This applies to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Coveralls: The tall sizes are 1" longer than regular sizes, the tall sleeve lengths are 1" longer than regular sleeve lengths, and the short sleeve lengths are 1" shorter than regular sleeve lengths. This DOES NOT apply to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough Love! My son's Duck Active Jacket with Thermal Lining would not wear out! He had to out grow it! This was my son's first Carhartt jacket. I bought it for him for his sophomore year in high school, but bought it in a small size. What was I thinking? His other outer wear would last for a season (maybe) and would come home in shreds. So was I ever surprised when his Carhartt lasted the season and when washed looked as good as new! My son actually outgrew his jacket and has now passed it on to a friend. His buddies love his coat and this school more are showing up in Carhartt jackets. Tough, warm, stylish, affordable. What a combination!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great work jacket I have owned this jacket for about 10 months now and after much wear, is still in great condition. I work outside in cold weather for 6 months out of the year and this jacket has never failed me. Even in 20 degree weather I work up a sweat in no time. The thermal lining is perfect for anything down to about 10 degrees. The active cut allows for a great range of movement, which is perfect since I am constantly climbing up ladders and have to fit into tight spaces. My only complaint would be that the hood fits a little strange on my head and does not allow for great cover in rain that is blowing sideways. I usually wear a hat though so it is no big deal. Great jacket well worth the price and I know it will last me for years to come!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2nd Carhartt My coat is great!I like the inside pockets that it has and the attached hood for when I am outdoors snowblowing it keeps me and my peronal items like my cell phone warm and dry. I am a big guy 4XL and finding a coat that fits well is very hard but my Carhartt fits great and lets me move with ease. There are Carhartt imatations out there but they dont fit like a Carhartt and they dont wear like one either my 1st one lasted twice as long as a friend of mines imatation so the extra money you pay isnt just for the name it's for a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Durable Coat This coat is great. My first lasted through 4 years of hard use in overgrown agricultural fields and secondary growth forest overrun with briers and wild rose. Although the coat is a little stiff when forst purchased, this is an asset. Never once did the coat rip or tear and after a couple of weeks it break in nicely. I'm only replacing now since the weld on the zipper has given out and I've never been satisfied with the results of replacing a zipper. I imagine I'll never even consider a different fall-winter-early spring work coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Midwest Winter I'm glad I got this jacket when I did. Just a few days ago Nebraska got hit with some bad snow and blizzard like winds. But I was curious if the Jacket would hold up to the elements and it blew me completely away. The jacket kept me warm while I was working outside, the stiching was wonderfully done and the zipper was of very high quality craftsmanship. If any one is looking at getting a jacket that will keep you warm on the coldest of days then don't look any further than this jacket. Best Regards, Markum Dalis

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks, well I have just bought this jacket because we have been getting a lot of snow the thermal lining on the inside dose seem a little on the light side but i do have a Carhartt C26 MOS coat which is heavy I got this to wear in the spring and wanted it to be lighter then my coat but even though it may seem lighter I can still wear just a t-shirt and be very warm in 5deg weather which is surprising for a jacket with just thermal lining. Seems great just like every other carhartt product i own

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durability++++++++ Sleeves are just fraying now, bought it in 1992 Wife said she wouldn't go out in public with me wearing it anymore. Worked in the pipeline services industry for 10 years all over the country and Europe. In and out of the ditch, washed a hundred million times. Kept me warm without sweating. If it got cold enough I just added a Carhartt thermal vest and/or bibs. It was good from late Sept to April. Still use it as a garage/under the truck jacket so as to keep new one "wife-happy"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest ever This jaket is the warmest jake i have ever worn and it fits good to. I had used this jacket for about 4 years and just recently got a new carhartt for a present the only thing that wore on it was the end of the sleeves. My dad had used this jacke for work prior to me. I used this jacket all threw high school and as many of you know teenagers are extreamly hard on clothing, but this jacket took some extream abuse and came out looking great. the lineing never wore out or got thin. It is still in good shape and i still use it for work. It is the first jacket i grab when going out fishing or to work on the farm. My mom loved the jacket to becuase it was so easy to get clean almost anything short of axle grease came out with out a spot on it! i would recomend this jacket to anyone, and I myself know i will never buy anything other then carhartt.
