• Please note that if your chest and/or waist measurements are in between sizes, you should buy the larger size. It is also wise to double check the product description of the shirt you are buying to determine the fit. Sorry to be so bossy.

*Measure over your undergarments for best results

CHEST: Measure under your arms and across your shoulder blades while holding the tape firm and level. If your chest measurement is between sizes, buy the next size up.

WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, this time keeping the tape comfortably loose.

INSEAM: Measure pants that fit you well. Lay them on a flat surface, with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from the crotch to bottom of leg hem. You can also measure the correct inseam length without pants by measuring from your crotch to the pant length you would prefer.

TALL SIZES: For Carhartt's tall sizes, the garments are two inches longer in the length and sleeve than their regular size garments.

Regular, Short, and Tall Sizes

Differences Between Regular and Tall Sizing

Outerwear, Long-Sleeve Shirts, and Sweats: The tall sizes are 2" longer than regular sizes and the tall sleeve lengths are 2" longer than regular sleeve lengths. This applies to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Coveralls: The tall sizes are 1" longer than regular sizes, the tall sleeve lengths are 1" longer than regular sleeve lengths, and the short sleeve lengths are 1" shorter than regular sleeve lengths. This DOES NOT apply to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from There is lots of room for improvement This coat is labeled as arctic. In my opinion it isn't even close to standing up to arctic conditions. It is not anywhere close to being warm enough for an average MN/ND winter day, much less a cold winter day in the northern climate. However, it does stand up to some of the "abuse" I give it working around the heavy equipment/trucks. If I spill diesel on it I just simply put it in the washer and let it dry overnight and it is good to go the next morning. Same is also true if I get road salt on it. If I layer it with my lighter carhart under it, then it is better, but still should be MUCH heavier/warmer than it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What Carhartt is Known For Whenever I think of Carhartt, their duck coat is what I picture. This big, bulky coat will keep you incredibly warm when the temperature drops to below freezing and is probably the warmest coat I've ever owned. My only complaint is that it does seem overly bulky as a coat for those with a smaller frame (such as myself). The bulkiness is outweighed by its warmth though, and I still rate it 5/5. It would be nice if the hood came with it, but that can be purchased separately. My father and both my brothers have one, and a new Carhartt coat is a coveted Christmas present around our house. Definitely a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! I purchased this coat to replace one that my boyfriend has had for years. The color of the other one had faded, he broke the zipper a while ago, and in his last hunting trip (before this one got ordered) he got blood ALL over it. It has to be very cold for him to wear a jacket, but when he wants one this is the only thing he reaches for. It fits great, is comfortable, and the pockets are so convenient. The jacket was out of stock in Tallahassee, but I had a great experience shopping online here, even when I had to change my order for another size. Thanks for the great coat Carhartt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coat I have this coat in blue which they do not make anymore. I have a C26 as well and this coat I use when its snowing or the temp is really cold. I use it at college and everything else its a really nice jacket. I dont wear this coat to work cause its nice and I can wear it causly but I do wear it to plow and snowblow only thing is the duck when it gets wet you do get cold if you wearing just a sweatshirt and a undershirt or a thermal. Get the extremes c55 or the j133 which I have if you are gonna also use it in foul weather I use the j133 for wet and snowy weather see that review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased Several for Family I have purchased 4 of these jackets for men in my life who either work in construction or are out doors. The last one was for my son-in-law because he works in construction. My daughter ended up wanting one, so I bought one for her. The Artic Quilted lining is very effective in fighting the cold. My son-in-law specifically asked for this jacket as all his co-workers recommended this jacket. We live in Ohio and it gets cold. He has thanked us a thousand times over for keeping him warm throughout the winter. There isn't a family member male or female who doesn't own one. Carthartt products will be in our family forever. We even bought the two grandsons one and a pair of bib overhauls. They wear them all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality I've always loved my Carhartt jackets and this one is no exception there the only ones that seem to last me not to mention there the most comfortable and warmest ive ever bought. The only complaint I have about it is the double zipper I really wish it was like all the previous ones that just had a single zipper. Another thing I really liked is that this one is now made in the USA I know to most it really doesn't matter but I really like knowing my money is going back to people in this country really gives a better sense of ownership when you buy a product made here

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best carhartt I own I have the carhartt active w/sherpa linning and the active w/ thermal linning. that I love, BUT I just got the Traditional w/ arctic linning. WOW does this keep the cold out! I walk dogs all day and even two days ago the wind chill was 20 below and this coat keep my soooo warm even when the wind kicked up! I had to write a reveiw because I am so happy with my purchase. Carhartt`s are well worth the money too because they last forever. Thanks Carhartt! Please keep making a high quality product and don`t compromise your integrity like other clothing makers have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stands the test of time I have owned 2 C003 coats. My first was handed down from my father. I am a carpenter, as well as a fisherman, and both of my coats have lasted 7 years plus each. It's getting to be time to buy a new one, and I have a couple concerns. I don't care for the newer style double zipper. I find it doesn't work as well as the old style regular zipper that I have on my current coat. Also, I wish you would bring back the old school sizing. I need a 44 regular. I found the fit to be so much better when you could order by numbered sizing instead of just large, x-large, etc. As far as I am concerned, This is the best coat on the market. The comfort and durability are second to none, along with the value. Thanks for continuing to put out a quality product!
