CARHARTT FIT GUIDE and INFO

*Measure over your undergarments for best results

CHEST: Measure under your arms and across your shoulder blades while holding the tape firm and level. If your chest measurement is between sizes, buy the next size up.

WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, this time keeping the tape comfortably loose.

INSEAM: Measure pants that fit you well. Lay them on a flat surface, with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from the crotch to bottom of leg hem. You can also measure the correct inseam length without pants by measuring from your crotch to the pant length you would prefer.

TALL SIZES: For Carhartt's tall sizes, the garments are two inches longer in the length and sleeve than their regular size garments.

Regular, Short, and Tall Sizes
FIND YOUR HEIGHT: Recommended Length of Garment Length of Coverall Inseam
5'3" - 5'7" Short (Available in Coveralls only) 28"
5'7" - 5'11" Regular 30"

Differences Between Regular and Tall Sizing

Outerwear, Long-Sleeve Shirts, and Sweats: The tall sizes are 2" longer than regular sizes and the tall sleeve lengths are 2" longer than regular sleeve lengths. This applies to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Coveralls: The tall sizes are 1" longer than regular sizes, the tall sleeve lengths are 1" longer than regular sleeve lengths, and the short sleeve lengths are 1" shorter than regular sleeve lengths. This DOES NOT apply to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pants I can find I have owned several pairs of these pants over the years and I keep coming back to them. They are the only work pants I can find that look good and fit my built lower body. It's nearly impossible these days to find pants that fit my thighs but arent too big on the waist. Thank you Carhartt for the 19" leg opening and please don't discontinue using it as then you'll join the ranks of being just like every other ignorant pant brand out there. The only complaint I have is that the blue version of this pant will distress with faded blue and white marks and look really nasty after several months of washing. The color fades quickly but they still work good, just don't look good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and functionality I have 4 pairs of these pants and I love them. They serve multiple applications. I work in a "business casual" environment and these are close enough to Khakis to wear to the office. I also wear them when its hot outside to ride on my motorcycle. The light weight material is much cooler than riding in jeans. I also like the cell phone pocket. It's easy to get out in a hurry even when sitting down. The only thing I dont like about them is they are always wrinkled even right out of the dryer. They also fit a little tighter than most pants I have with the same waist number so you may consider going up a size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bulletproof I have had my work dungarees for a while now and they have not ceased to disappoint. They have been through heavy yard-work, camping, trudging through thick meadows, mud, and fire & smoke. Most impressively though, is their durability with my dirt bike. I have worn them through many a riding sessions and they have not yet ceased to amaze. Even today, when I wiped out on a gravel road doing doing about 20 mph and slid across the road, they protected my legs from any scratches or scrapes AND they still look brand new. While I may be bruised and hurting, at least my Carhartts are still looking good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great pants, except leg openings I hate to give these pants a so-so review, especially on subjective things. These pants are great except for one thing I hate, and that is the 19" leg openings. For me, and the types of boots I wear, having these huge leg openings means that there is no bunching of the pants whatsoever at the bottom of the leg. You pretty much have to have them hemmed at dress pant lengths to make sure you aren't stepping on the back of your pants all day, so they ride high when you bend over or sit down. Most guys I know who wear boots regularly prefer to have at least a little fabric-gathering at the bottom, and these pants make that impossible, unless you are wearing some huge boots. I would like to see these taken down to 17" and they would be perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second to None My maintenance crew and I wear these (B151) daily as part of our uniform. The fit and durability are unmatched, and I have tested work wear from all the players. Wrangler comes close, but no one beats Carharrt for work. This style is light enough for summer, and in the winter we just throw on the thermals underneath and keep on going. Personally, I have thrown the denim jeans away and wear nothing but Carharrt for work or play. What are you waiting for? Something better to come along? Not gonna happen so just go ahead and buy these now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from extremely comfortable Last year I bought 2 pairs. I like the fit very much, especially because it goes up to my natural waist. It is extremely comfortable. The side pockets are capacious. The fabric has an exellent quality. This year I got another 2 pairs of different colors. I wanted more but unfortunately the colors that I wanted were out of stock. I use them going to work; I am a health professional. I also use them during my vacations. I really like them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Pants I've worn the Carhartt work dungaree for the last four to five years and have been very satisfied. They fit great, feel good on, look good on, and have plenty of pockets for storage. I prefer them to cargo pants as the pockets are much easier to access and they look better. I've done my share of work in them (aircraft cargo loading) and they have held up well. Also light weight and cool, which I prefer. I highly recommend these pants!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dungarees changed fit I bought two pair of dungarees several years ago and they have been great but are now showing some wear. I ordered two more of the same size and style and they are totally changed in the fit. The style has been shortened through the waist to the crotch which makes the bottom of the zipper sit much higher and creates a much tighter fit. I sent them back. (and just in case you're wondering: no, I have not gained weight or waist size).
