The Canada Goose Youth PBI Expedition Parka is a thigh-length parka for wrapping your kid in warmth for the winter. The PBI Expedition Parka has been bathed in the signature blue color of Polar Bears International, and tagged with their logo patch on the right shoulder. A portion of the purchase will go to the conservation of the white-furred bear habitats. The jacket has been built to withstand the cold tundra of Antarctica, stuffed with 625 fill power down and protected by a durable, water-resistant Arctic-Tech shell fabric. The rib-knit cuffs are comfortable and strong to keep out drafts and the insulated hood features a coyote fur ruff to protect small faces from wind and snow. The fur can be removed for a different look or more mild temperatures. The four front pockets all secure shut with a Velcro flap, so extra gloves or mittens and snacks don't go missing.
With every PBI product purchase, Canada Goose will donate $25 to Polar Bears International, which helps support the conservation of polar bear habitats through continued research and education. So great.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.
Canada Goose Arctic-Tech
Canada Goose Arctic-Tech fabrics and materials are designed to stay dry in extreme conditions and climates. Born and bred in some of Earth's most unforgiving environments and arctic temperatures, these textiles are durable and water resistant in addition to being super warm and cozy. Long story short, Arctic-Tech makes arctic conditions seem less arctic-y.

Good product and some helpful advice. This product is great. If you are living in PA, I really recommend this one. If you are about 165-170 cm, I recommend 18 size, especially for Asian. ,,I prefer to give you some features that can not be seen from the picture. 1.This product is not heavy, and really useful in cold windy days. 2. The build-in hat is large enough to protect your whole head. 3. There are two hidden pockets behind the bottom pockets, in which you can put your hand and keep them warm.,,Overall, I really love it for its outlook and good quality!

Great color and rugged outer shell. Keeps my son warm, definitely. Sizes are erratic. My six-year-old son loves this jacket, which he has had since Christmas. He wears it to all occasions, although it can get hot indoors. The PBI special color is vibrant and cool, and we've gotten so many complements on the color alone, because it is rarely seen. Canada Goose makes long-lasting jackets, and the kids Expedition model with its tough outer shell is no exception. Too bad he will grow out of the jacket in a couple of years. I thought I was buying a much bigger size, but when the jacket arrived, it was smaller than we expected but a great fit for this year. Because we didn't want our son to wait another few weeks for the larger size (which would have lasted him another year), we just let it roll. Oh, the coyote fur can wrap more completely around the hood instead of stopping around the ear area. This is strange, since the same jacket on my older son's has a more complete fur around the hood. Best jacket for kids due to the tough outer shell which won't rip.

Canada Goose sets the standard for cold weather gearThis is my 4th purchase of a Canada Goose down coat. I have 1 Branta parka, 1 Heliarctic parka, got my wife a bomber and now buying one for the child. In summary:,,-the construction of the coat is excellent. Resilient, good hand-feel to the fabrics, wonderfully warm, and thoughfully done. (Backpack-type straps when not wearing the coat on the women's version, inner closure belt to keep snow out, lined pockets for extra warmth, detachable fur from hood, and real down just seems to work better than the artificial fillers.,,-the look of the coats, in my view, is superior to most other warm weather coats. I prefer my CG Branta parka over my Arc'teryx. ,,-the child size version is the same coat, but made smaller. No cutting corners. So while it is pricey to spend on a child's coat knowing she will grow out of it, there is no substitute for the warmth it provides in a brutal mid-western winter. And, I know I can either donate it or something else when the kid grows out of it.
