Amazing premium winter jacket! As someone who has to deal with waiting for public transportation in Chicago, this jacket does a great job standing up to the winter elements. Snow and wind are no problem. It falls to about mid-thigh and covers a lot of area. Looks great and has a very clean look to it with none of the excess bulk a lot of similar parkas have. You really get the best of both worlds with this jacket. At 6'1" and 170 lbs, the large fits me perfectly. My only complaint is the amount of fur around the hood was a little disappointing compared to the pictures. If you're willing to invest in a good winter coat, I'd highly recommend you go with the Langford.

The perfect Buffalo CoatI never heard of Canada Goose before last winter. A frequent visitor to Toronto I saw dozens of people wearing them. Some casually, some over suit coats. They are a fashion statement up there. When I got back home I was pretty surprised at their cost...pretty high...but research showed extremely high quality, happy customers and made in Canada!.Besides beer I'm not sure what else is made in Canada.,,I bought the graphite one and love it.It fits great, is dressy enough for work, light in weight, but extremely warm. The quality is impeccable,,I wore it through the Polar Vortex and the Buffalo blizzard of 14...The most versatile coat I own and worth the price..

This jacket is pricey but well worth the investment. It was a pleasure dealing with Moosejaw. This Langford Parka is one of the best winter jacket I have ever purchased. It's very warm, made by durable materials, and meanwhile maintains stylish looks. ,,,,I love the coyote fur ruff which is almost the brand name of Canada Goose. Zippers look very durable. Useful pockets are well organized, offering a clean and stylish look. I like the design of elasticized waist draw cord very much, which can definitely provide added warmth. Although it is marked as TEI4(-15°C / -25°C), I feel confident that with a wool sweater inside this jacket is warm enough for the Alberta's winter (sometimes below -30°C).

Perfect for winterI bought this when winter was 59 Degrees F in December. The Farmer's Almanac predicted a few cold months ahead and we have since received the cold 30s. Windy, cold blasts? No problem. Still happy to venture out as long as the parka is worn. Gone were the "cabbage" days when 4 layers were peeled off upon arrival at the destination. A dress shirt and t-shirt is all I need with my jeans or dress pants. The Spirit color is a softened Navy. Still fighting with the heavy zippers sometimes, but glad the struggle is less these days. Forgot gloves or hat, you'll Love this parka!

You get what you pay forI splurged and bought this coat for my husband (who is from CA) after we recently moved to my hometown of Chicago. I knew he wouldn't last a second in one of the Windy City's hellacious winters without a seriously warm coat. This one of Canada Goose's sleekest "street" coats without sacrificing any of the rugged warmth and arctic cold protection. He not only looks great in this parka, but he has been able to survive some of the coldest winters on record. He works outside and wears his Canada Goose all of the time. He also loves the parka's intense tube hood that blocks out any traces of icy wind on his face. Bottom line, GREAT parka!!! Pricey, but totally worth it if you need a coat that will stand up to the most brutal cold.

Cannot ask for moreGot this for my husband since he is commuting to downtown Chicago everyday. Waiting on the barren train station with gusty wind can be very brutal. He LOVES it. Said it's the warmest jacket he'd ever owned. The fur trim has a zipper to detach from the hood if you are against having real coyote fur hanging around your face. There are ample pockets to stuff your phone, wallet, gloves. Worth the investment and this comes true to size. He's 6'4 and the large fits perfectly. Local stores (ie. Nordstorm / Bloomingdale's) do not stock all the colours available so Moosejaw is a great place to get what you want.

"Sleeping bag with arm holes"I spend quite a bit of time outside commuting on public transportation in Chicago and the unseasonably cold weather in November 2014 brought back chilling memories of the polar vortex winter we had here in 2013-14. I promised myself I'd not go through another one but since the move to North Carolina didn't work out and I didn't win the lottery I figured a warm jacket was the next best thing. My first commute with the Langford this morning and it was 10F with windchill of 4F and the results: I was perfectly comfortable. Honestly, I've never been good with cold weather and this parka is like a force field around my body keeping the cold out and the heat in. Bring on the Canadian cold air masses, I've got a Canadian parka that is ready to battle!

Phenomenal Jacket Once You Master the Main ZipperWow, what a well built, warm jacket for serious cold. And can be worn with dressier clothes. I have the black. I am 6'1", 185 Lbs. and needed the XL to fit me in the shoulders so the sleeves are a touch too long. Nice room to layer. Finally a parka with a deep enough hood, could use a little more fur in the ruff as the actual Canada Goose jackets don't have as much fur as the pictures would have you think. The fur lays around your upper neck and ears with the hood down which is very nice.,,,,The main zipper was a BEAR for me at first. Not only are you starting much lower due to the parka's extra length, but for male American consumers, it is going throw you by threading the zipper on the opposite side. However, you do get used to it. Eventually.,,,,Overall love the Parka, the build, the extra length, the warmth, and ability to wear with nicer clothes..
