The Canada Goose Men's Chateau Parka was constructed to embody all of the best qualities from Canada Goose in order to top the standards for quality, functionality, and style. The shell is made with Canada Goose's 195gsm Arctic-Tech and cotton blend with DWR, filled with 625 fill power white duck down, and combined with a 55gsm Nylon-weave, water-proof lining to provide complete insulation. The 2-way adjustable tunnel hood with removable coyote fur ruff will provide wind protection for your face, and the recessed, heavy-duty rib-knit cuffs will keep snow from penetrating. Canada Goose also boasts a range of added features on the Men's Chateau Parka, including a button-secured front zipper with wind flap, fleece-lined welt pockets for keeping hands warm, and interior pockets for added storage room. This slim fit, insulated men's parka by Canada Goose is the ultimate winter jacket, whether you're on a trek to the South Pole or walking through the windy streets of New York City. The Chateau Parka exudes a modern, urban look and will live up to every expectation you have for warmth and comfort.
DECENT FEATURES of the Canada Goose Men's Chateau Parka
"Awesome mix of form + function + quality"
Duck down insulation makes it toasty inside. The cuff is elastic so wind doesn't get all up in your arm's business. The hood's coyote fur lining looks great + feels amazing. Best part though is it's a tough parka that looks great. 6'2, 170lbs, M fits great even with a sweater underneath. I won't be taking this up mountain climbing; that's what my super-packable MH Subzero SL parka is for. This is great for around the ski areas and pre-14'er climb warmth/looking awesome. Not that this couldn't take the abuse.Great mix of tough/warm/stylish. There are better things if you're ONLY interested in function though, like the Subzero SL parka, or the Canada Goose Snow Mantra (I hear).
I am not exagerating when I say that I really only need a shirt under this parka...I use the Canada Goose Vest til it gets down into the thirties then I switch to this below that. The BEST and WARMEST you can get and you are buying from a company that stands behind their products
"Screams quality, but only for the slim..."
Great parka; very well made and toasty warm. Down feels softer than the 625 rating suggests, probably because Canada Goose is quality and doesn't misrepresent. When I wear this jacket I feel I am prepared for the next ice age.One thing to note: When they say this is slim, they aren't joking. I'm a slim guy, though with reasonably broad shoulders. I wear medium or small in most brands. Medium here is almost too tight on me...it is very, very narrow -- especially at the waist. I also tried a large but the sleeves were way too long... so kept the medium and keep telling myself I better not gain any weight. All in all, I'm a huge fan.
