Small, but effective, the Nano 23 is the lightest carabiner in the world, but still features a gate opening large enough for normal clipping and an inner working space that is large enough to accept bulky knots like the clove hitch. Their compact size is particularly noticeable on gear loops where they take up less space than traditional biners making them particularly easy to attach and remove on the sharp end.
Weight: 138 g, 4.9 oz
Major Axis: 20 kN
Minor Axis: 7 kN
Open Gate: 7 kN
Gate Opening: 21 mm

Great light tiny binerI use these for racking cams and for the gear side of my trad draws. I never noticed the "flaw" the other reviewer mentioned (sharp edge on wiregate attachement) and have a hard time believing that these could ruin a sling.,,The weight savings are considerable. They are pretty small however. I've stopped using these for the rope side of my draws because I find them a little hard to clip sometimes. If you have really big hands, you might not like these.,,I'm not sure I would recommend these if you are using fat nylon slings. Especially tripled up, they (a) take up a lot of space inside the biner, and (b) might cause tri-axial or otherwise weird loading in a fall.

Lightest...So I bought these because they were the lightest on the market. I am pretty good with my hands and was not too worried about the small size. I felt like the best place for them was on my cams so I threw one on and started to play around. I noticed a small piece of metal that sticks out where the wire gate connects. As I slid my runner along simulating use it quickly started to damage my runner....! I immediately grabbed a full size wire gate to test. Unfortunately with a photon I had the same result. With a neutrino there is a band of metal that forces any material up and over the rivet. I still say good not great because they are the lightest and someone is using them and not dying.

Small, light weight and very small and light weight.Ok, so my friend was shouting to me: "Why do you put nano's on your ice screws (we where in the middle of an glacier), you know, nano with gloves... it takes more energy than carrying 10g more!",,My friend is right of course, they are a bit tiny for use with gloves and mitts, but hey, they are light. Ok, so I don't use them on my ice screws anymore, but they are perfect on long trad routes with half ropes. I don't have the biggest of hands so for me its really no problem.,,,,These are the choice to go with if your next climbing adventure is miles and miles away from any road and you like to carry a few g less. And those grams adds up!,,,,I don't see how these can damage any fiber by the way. ,,,,
