The C12 Crampon by Camp USA. Semi-rigid 12-point chromoly steel crampons for classic mountaineering and alpine routes. Innovative 3-D shaped construction (pressed - not just bent) on the front platform distributes pressure applied to one point across the platform significantly increasing the strength and durability of the crampon. The automatic binding style is recommended for stiff boots with full toe and heel welts, including all A/T and most telemark boots.
The automatic heel and universal toe fits a variety of specialty mountaineering boots with welted heels and standard toe. For telemark or A/T boots, use the C12 Auto.
Thermoplastic heel and toe harnesses wrap around nearly any hiking and classic mountaineering boot and are secured by straps-these are the best bindings for use with full overboots. For telemark or A/T boots, use the C12 Auto.

Good crampons, do what they shouldRecently used for a few days during an attempt on Chulu West (6419m) in the Annapurna region of Nepal. I think the best thing about these is how easy they are to fit! Lift the flap move the bar, drop the pin. Done. The toe basket is pretty stiff and the anti-bot plates are pretty soft but otherwise no real issues. The strap can be difficult to tighten due to where the buckle sits, but this didn't seem to present any issues. I wore over a set of size 9 Scarpa Invernos/Vegas, and also over a pair of 40below over boots. Being able to adjust so easily made this change no issue. The construction seems to be very good quality, though only time will tell.

Fit easily, kept me stable, ripped my pantsBreaking these in with a new pair of double boots for a trip to Rainier this June. Used them on a mono-rail in NH and was very happy with the traction. Went on to the boots just fine, just make sure to set the sizing at home first to save time and effort. ,,,,Be careful though, when you fall off the monorail, the spikes are sharp enough to rip your pant leg!
