I was looking for a more feminine camelpak, and love the look of this one. BUT - it's not that big. I was hoping for something that would fit a snack/sandwich for longer bike rides, but beyond keys, phone and a multi-purpose tool and a full bladder, there isn't any room for much else beyond an energy-gel pack. No regrets buying this, for short rides it's perfect!
I honestly can't think of anything to improve on this one. I got it to relpace my fairfax model. Feelsjust as light and streamlined but with so much more. LOVE that you can choose the tube side and the slots are big enough that don't have to remove bite valve w/ cover to remove for cleaning. love that it has several organization mesh pockets & key fob. Plenty of zippered storage, but favorite part is the open pocket w/ compression straps. throw in a hat, tshirt, whatever in there but if you don't, bc of the design, it's still small. Plus easy access. Being able to fill the bladder without removing it is sweet. notice a big reduction in water sloshing with the new split bladder design.
I have been using this pack from hiking, to cycling and canoeing and it is my constant companion. It has a nice arrangement of pockets that hold a suprising amount of gear! also I love the side compression like straps as you can roll up a coat and slot it in there without compromising carrying capacity. The fit is great and it fits my back nicley. Water access is nice and easy to use and I have had no leaks yet! cleaning is also a breeze with the extending arms and hook on the bladder.overall a well sized hydration pack!
