"es util para contener agua, pero no es lo mejor que se puede conseguir" 07/12/11
I bought this bag a few months ago and honestly I still feel the water like plastic. The thermal protection is good but should have included the protection of the tubing. The top usually stays tight and makes it difficult to open with gloves.
"Hands Down, Best Water System" 01/07/11
I bought this probably 4 months ago and I use it twice a week at least. I looks the same as the day I bought it, and you really couldn't ask for a better functioning product. So, see the black thing there around the opening? If you hold that or hang the bottle by that from a drawer or something, it opens the bottle right up for easy filling. The strap on top is great for if you're in camp and need a reservoir. And, I SWEAR to you, this thing keeps water cold @ 4 hours! The flow is fantastic and, well, I just don't have enough room for all my accolades. LOVE IT!
"Great water bladder" 09/29/10
I bought this bladder last spring and its been an asset every time I've went out backpacking. The large fill cap is great for... well filling it. The hose is long enough to reach me pretty easily even in my Aether 70 (it was also long enough in my old pack). Though I have little use for the cinch clips I have used the top handle a lot, both in carrying it around to fill it and in my old pack to hang it and hold it off the bottom of my pack.Overall, a great way to carry 70oz of liquid. Easy to clean, long enough hose and has protection against puncture with the nylon case.
"water carrier backpack papoose" 08/16/10
this source of hydration has been developed though thousands of years and is yours for the low price of 35 dollars. its great but if you want the actual backpack version its worth it too. it gets bulky sometimes! word to the wise-clean it well and clean it good otherwise the liner taints the h2o something horrific.Good day my fellow moosejawians!
"meh....good not great" 12/19/09
It does exactly what it was supposed to do but, like others, I was a little dissapointed with the bulk. If you need a camelback, make sure to check out several in person (before you come back here to buy, of course) and/or pay close attention to dimensions and weight in descriptions. Factor in the weight of the water and how much you really need for your average hike.
"Works, holds a good amount but accessories might help" 11/04/09
Holds plenty for weekend backpacking trips. Depending on how far you are going and how much water you need for cooking you might not even need to refill it.Ive had some issues with plastic taste but havn't yet tried cleaning tablets. I'm hoping those will solve that problem. Ive also had issues with the water in the tube being warm on hot summer days making it so you have to take a mouth full of warm water before you get to the cold stuff. Im thinking that insulation for the tube might help this issue.
"Heavy, but definitely did its job!" 08/18/09
This shell of the water bottle was pretty heavy, but if you're willing to take the time to remove it, it's perfect (or if you have a really good backpack). It didn't taste like plastic, which is always a plus.
"Great Camelback" 08/12/09
This is a great camelback if you already have a backpack for whatever it is you plan on needing a camelback for. It is much more convenient than carrying the number of bottles it would take to have competent volume. My only comlaint is alot of times when you go to fill it the bladder is twisted and it is kind of hard to tell so it splashes back on you without warning which really is no big deal. all in all great by my standards. LTM
"Good bottle, a little bulky" 04/14/09
This bottle fits well with my Osprey Atmos 65 pack, takes up a little more room on the inside than I would like and is a bit bulky to fit in the back panel. Works great though and tastes a lot less plasticy than other bladders I have tried.
