The CamelBak M.U.L.E NV Hydration Pack is a durable pack for all day mountain biking. The M.U.L.E. NV comes with a 3L Antidote reservoir, which features a baffle down the center to keep it low profile, an easy open/close lid, and hidden dry arms for when you arrive home. The reservoir has its own special section in the pack, separating your water from the rest of your gear. The main compartment has plenty of space for an extra layer, snacks, and lunch. The smaller front pocket is a bike tool organizer, so you know exactly where everything is when you need to tweak or fix something. The back panel is the main feature of this solid pack, which uses four pods that will move and follow your back, whether you're standing or sitting in the saddle. They also provide plenty of ventilation as you heat up. The sternum strap and hip belt stabilize the bag so buckle in and hit the trail.

Great for most thingsI have had this pack for 2 years now. I primarily use it for distance running but have used it mountain biking, a daypack on a backpacking trips, snowshoeing, I have drug it up a big wall climbing, and as just a water pack on camping trips. The pack fits my back well and the built in rain cover has come in handy a lot! I can tighten the buh-jesus out of the pack so nothing moves around when I am running. The water bladder is almost retired as it leaks a bit, but after 2 years of solid use and abuse I can't complain. The pack is holding up like a champ. However, when running or hiking without a shirt on, the mesh will tear the shit out of your back. So I wouldn't buy it again for that reason.

Well designed, well constructed hydration packI purchased this pack after doing quite a bit of research online and I purchased it from Moosejaw because they had the best price.,,,,The pack does everything it's advertised to do. I really like that the reservoir disconnects from the drinking tube for filling. The handle and wide mouth make it easy to fill with ice from the fridge.,,,,Storage capacity is substantial, I have yet to fill it up on any hike or bike ride. The compression straps work very well to cinch down lighter loads.,,,,The articulated panels on the back do a really good job of keeping your back dry and the water cold. I purchased the insulated drinking tube separately and it helps, but doesn't alleviate, that first warm gulp of water. It's a little snug in the drinking tube sternum clip, but it still fits in there one-handed.,,,,I was the first kid on my block to get one of these.
