I have the .75l bottle and use it every day, all day. It is quick and easy to use since all you have to do is fill up the bottle with tap water and start drinking. CamelBak makes good quality products and the bite valves are awesome to use. The bottle feels durable. You can also buy replacement carbon filters.
I bought this for traveling since I was tired of paying $5 for a bottle of water at the airport. Upsides - saves you tons of money, clean water, I rinsed the filter as instructed and didnt taste any carbon, didn't leak (even on the plane)Downsides - wouldnt trust it with serious water contamination issues, the bite valve straw isn't that bad but sometimes you want a big refreshing gulp of water and that won't happen here
I bought this water bottle for my girlfriend, she is of the ilk that won't drink tap water, only from the fridge. I would personally drink from a rusty spiggot o'er chunder just for the fun of it. Little iron never hurt nobody. The good old mountain dew does not taste the same in this water bottle. I'm sure that says something fantastic about the filter; however, I'm dissappointed i wasted a good dew to find out. New bottom line: This water bottle will ruin a good can of soda.
This is the best water bottle I have ever used. I carry a water bottle with me pretty much everywhere. I love this one! It doesn't spill or break. The silicone spout I was kind of skeptical of - but it has lasted, and I haven't had any problems with it.
"You will never want to drink water without it!"
I use this all day every day while at school. Water gets funky between the different buildings... sometimes it tastes fine, sometimes it's chlorine-y, sometimes it tastes like metal... so, needless to say it wasn't pleasant before. NOW this makes it all taste GREAT! An absolute must have.
It does exactly what it says; despite the initial awkward sips that have traces of carbon in them from the freshly installed filter. I must admit, that did turn me off but overall it does remove the weird, alkaline taste that we're used to finding in tap water. It also makes a great bottle that's BPA-free and pretty practical.
"Excellent water bottle; durable and works great"
I have owned several Camelbak water bottle, but this is by far the best. It features the same bite valve that the rest of their water bottle have, but this one has a small filter attached that filters out tap water to make it more palletable. Although this is not meant to filter out unclean water, it is simply meant to provide a means to make tap water better tasting, which it does fantastically. The only downside to it is that you lose a bit of capacity with this bottle due to the filter, but in my opinion it is worth it.
