The CamelBak Fourteener 100oz Hydration Pack is a day pack for hitting the alpine trails in a single day. The Fourteener has 23 liters of space for lugging extra layers and food as well as includes space for the included 3 liter reservoir. The Dynamic Suspension harness combined with a beefier hipbelt supports the weight and allows you to carry it on your hips (instead of your shoulders). The mesh paneling keeps you cool and comfortable as your body heat increases. Attachment points for trekking poles or ice axe means quick access to gear when you need it, and hands free when you don't. Organize tools and smaller items in the front pouch and quick-stuff a jacket into the overflow storage. Up and at 'em early, so you can make it in before dinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the bees knees when it come to serious day hiking, or even an overnighter. This pack really is able to carry the essentials for the avid tramper, bladder can hold enough fluids for the harshest of accents or descents, and keeps reasonably cool. Lots of pockets easily accessible, and deep enough to carry food and enough clothing for your trip. Tents and hiking poles can clip on to the outside of the pack also, with enough strapping to secure them without them swinging all over the place and making your center of gravity to high and unsteady.,,The only downer is, "the one size fits all". It would be great if they did a size range for taller people. Definitely a thumbs up to this Camel Pak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pack is Everything I Need in a Day Tripper I got this pack as a gift and just tried it out on a hike out the The Wave in southern Utah/Arizona and it carried everything so easily, I hardly felt the weight on my back, even with 4 Liters of water, essentials, food, two cameras (it was The Wave, after all), a wind shell, and other sundries. I can easily see using this in colder weather with enough space to store extra layers. The bladder can be removed completely, is easy to fill and clean, and the tube has a quick connect system which prevent leakage when the tube is removed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Multi-use pack I bought this pack to get back into hiking and for emergency use. I've used this pack around a half dozen times and it fits the bill well. The zippers have an round aluminum handle that can take years of abuse. Great use of storage and I love the fact that the pack is adjustable around my waist and torso. The water bladder stays cool for several hours if stored in the fridge prior to a hike or day out. I also take a water bottle and the pack has a nice side webbing that holds my bottle in place. You'll love this pack!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome durable pack! I was at first skeptical of getting this pack... I was worried it didn't have the capacity I needed. I was certainly wrong. I will let you know when I have discovered all the pockets. There are so many! I love the felt pocket with the waterproof zipper. It keeps my camera dry. The waist strap is very comfortable and I love the hooks for the trekking poles. Overall, a solid bag and I got it on sale so heck yes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am lovin it!! This is great all-around back pack. I've used it for several hiking trips. I've used it for short 2 miles hike on flat land to a 6 miles round trip going up 1200ft in elevation. The bladder is able to hold enough water for both myself and my girlfriend going up the 6 miles/1200 elevation hike. Even with the full bladder it didn't feel heavy going up the elevation which proves that the pack is made with very good support. There are adjustable straps for your body so the pack doesn't bounce around.,,,,There are plenty of room to store things,,2 hoodies and a pair of jeans for when weather changes,,There are plenty of straps to store equipment like trekking poles or tripods,,2 side pockets to store additional water bottles or other things,,A small waterproofed pocket for your smart phones, keys and wallet,,Other things tied to the small loop straps at the bottom,,Helmet can be stored in the large extendable compartment with the straps loosened,,,,Overall rating 10/10. Love it!
