If you haven't heard of GORE-TEX by now, you've probably been living under a rock. And that would make sense, because living under a rock is probably the only place where you wouldn't need the durable waterproof and windproof protection that GORE-TEX fabrics offer. So when you're ready to venture out from under your rock, arm yourself with the comfortable protection of GORE-TEX.

Love these pants, everyone comments on themThese pants are awesome. They really DO look just like jeans, but they are totally 100% waterproof. They don't have insulation though, so make sure you plan to layer underneath if you're going to be in colder temperatures (I wore expedition weight first layer pants only and was OK down to 20 degrees. The next day, which went down to 10, I was a little bit chilly and needed to add another layer). ,,,,FYI, I am 5'3", ~ 140 pounds, with most of my weight focused in my hip area, and needed a Large for these to be comfy.
