Key Features of The Burton TWC Weekend Women's Snowboard Jacket:
"So cute & girly, love the style, BUT..."
...not sure I can keep it. The sizing is SO weird! I am petite, 5'2", and generally a size small to medium in tops and a 6 in pants. I bought a 5, and it is very close-fitting through the waist & chest (I have pretty big jugs, 32DDD!) and a little restrictive in the shoulders. Like everyone else has said, the sleeves are lo-o-ong, and the hem hits midway between my hips & knees, so going up a size isn't really an option. I am not a boarder, I bought the jacket to be warm enough when I'm watching my kids on the slopes and for occasionally playing in the snow (when they make me). If I were a bit taller & leaner (without this momma-belly) this would be a perfect jacket.
I absolutely loved this coat. It was extremely light but I could tell would keep me warm. Unfortunately I did have to return this jacket because of the length. I am a 26/27 in jeans and a small/medium in tops. I was extremely worried about how this would fit across my shoulders and arms but I was able to layer a thick 1/4 zip under this and still feel like I wasn't restricted. The reason I had to return was because of the length. I am 5'4 and this came probably 6 inches above my knees and felt to restricted. this was a great price and I loved the pattern and the way I felt but I had to go with a shorter jacket for what I needed it for. Loved, Loved it though!
I purchased this jacket in Black and i love it!!! It does run a bit large but if you have layers you may need the added room. Arms are longer than most jackets i have purchased, Im 67" and usually the arms are short but not in this case. I would def purchase this again!!!
I guess I shouldn't of gotten a snowboard jacket considering I never snowboard or ski and hate the snow. BUT regardless, I was looking for something that would keep me very warm in similar conditions. I ordered a 5 because I usually wear a small in other coats. However when I received this coat and tried it on, it damn near went down to me knees and the sleeves were waaaay past my arms. The overall fit of the jacket was too heavy although that might also be due to the size. I returned it all together and decided to try my luck elsewhere. So in my inexperienced opinion, if you know your stuff about snowboarding coats, go with it. Or don't. Whatevs.
I bought the black jacket in size 5, and I usually wear a size small. It fits perfectly and it is very warm. When it arrived, temps dropped into the teens and this coat kept me very warm. I've only had it for 3 days and I've gotten several compliments on it. It is very stylish and I like the feminine fit to it. The sleeves are a bit long but I would rather have it that way than too short. I think long sleeves on Burton coats are standard, because I have a Burton rain jacket and the sleeves are long on that too. There are 2 roomy outside pockets and 4 inside pockets (one of which is pretty roomy). Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase!!
