Very functional jacket, make sure you have warm base layers. Lots of pockets and straps to keep the snow and wind out. The true black grid is a colored grid, not white, in case you thought it was white. It's not. Super flattering fit. Easy to move in. I did a cartwheel in mine when it came and was totally comfortable.
I ordered this jacket for my friend, and when I opened the package, the jacket seems kinda soft like a windbraker. I own a Volcom snowboard jacket, which is heavier and looks more protective. I think that you really pay for the brand with Burton..
