The best!Must have in hot humid conditions. It keeps the sweat away from your eyes on the long hard hikes and is better than a hat on the cold hikes. I usually have two when I hike in the late fall and winter. One for my neck as a gaiter and the other as a hat. Once you get moving on the trail, you want something to keep your ears and head warm but will not capture all of the heat on top of your head. I have hiked in temps in the teens and a regular un-insulated buff works well to let the heat and moisture escape out the top while keeping my forehead, ears and the back of my head warm. It also doubles as an eye mask to catch some sleep during the day.

Love my buffThe only thing I would change is the fact that it says national geographic on the buff. Otherwise I love it and it gets the job done!
