"Does what a stove should do and top shelf quality." |
06/08/09 |
| Boils quickly, simmers if needed, and hot spots are nominal. I can always get the job done with this baby. If you are looking for lighter options... they exist, but I wasn't as happy with their performance. Good quality construction, packs down small. Great for backpackers and UL backpackers alike. Forget the stand for the fuel canisters. Worthless. Don't hesitate to buy this product. | |

"amazing little light stove" |
02/16/09 |
| its simple, you want a stove, you want one that doesn't drop your soon to be eaten dinner on the group seconds before eating. This thing folds up tiny. and i mean tiny. i toss it in my cook ware with my can of fuel. boils fast, the lighter works every time. no maintenance. chic dig it and Sasquatches are afraid of you for it. | |

"give yourself an excuse to buy this" |
04/08/08 |
| i've had this stove for about a year now and what more is there to say but wow. i had it out yesterday during a small blizzardi go out in this weather to test my gear for when it counts. anywhoot, it works wonderfully is incredibly compact and i only paid 50 for it. since i've had this stove three of my friends who have seen this have gone out and bought themselves one because they liked mine so much. i give it 2 THUMBS WAY UP! if you don't have this stove buy it if you have one you think you like, well, you don't. throw it away and get one of these | |

"I like it better than crux." |
04/03/08 |
| light and compact, but powerful. auto ignition is comfort I'm non-smoker crux has some gap between the hinge, that makes me uneasy. I think Raptor is better, included nylon case is easy to carry. | |

"I think I will keep the one I had, and give this one to my daughter." |

| Perfect backpacking stove, especially for a solo. Easy light, stays lit in wind, heats water fast, weighs nothing, easy on fuel. This one is going on a PCT thru-hike in 2008. | |

"Heats up fast" |
08/28/07 |
| Great stove!!! I was camping in a bottel neck and the wind was howling. This stove had a great constant flame. Only thing is that it heated up my pan so hot so fast that it burnt my pancakes. Long day with crispy pancakes to start day. Other than that love the stove. | |

"Definite Buy" |
06/25/07 |
| Bought this for a three-day Appalachian Trail hike. I used it two times a day for three day and only used half a can of gas. It boils a liter of water in about three to three and a half minutes and lights like a charm. That said, it was brand new, so I shouldn't expect any problems. The pot supports fold up as small as can be - the folded size is slightly larger than most flip cell phones - but unfold to support a large cooking pot comfortably. What's more, the price tag of around 65 is great for such a good stove! | |

"YEAAA!" |

| This stove is amazing, it is definitely among the top of the line and lives way up past my standards. I was surprised how fast it boiled water at high altitudes and the low LOW weight of the entire unit. Overall just an amazing buy | |

"Amazing, and under-recognized. Buy it for the value, and eat well." |
04/09/07 |
| THIS STOVE REALLY COVERS ALL BASES. ITS SMALL, LIGHT, DURABLE, EFFICIENT, VERSATILE, AND CHEAP. THERE ARE NO OTHER STOVES AT THIS PRICE BRACKET WITH A PIEZO-IGNITION. I REALLY LIKE THE SUPER WIDE ARMS THAT CAN HOLD BIG POTS. I HAVE THE ACCLAIMED MSR POCKET ROCKET, WHICH IS ADMITTEDLY SIMPLER, BUT THIS STOVE SPORTS A WIDER PLUME OF FLAME TO MORE EVENLY HEAT BIGGER POTS. IT'S MADE IN JAPAN, WHICH IS NICE (RATHER THAN CHINABLOCKEDKEYWORDOR ZIMBABWE). PIEZO CLICK IGNITION IS VERY HANDY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE IN A HURRY. BUY THIS STOVE, ITS THE BEST VALUE. | |
