Whether you’re honing your shooting accuracy in Athens, Greece, or reading the barometric pressure trends when the fish are rising, the ADC lends necessary insight to your outdoor activity. Let your partners believe you’re predicting the rain with some sort of mind-bending, supernatural powers and leave the science to us. ADC technology is the perfect example of our commitment to changing the way we live in the outdoors.

| I love it. Is your weather man wrong about the weather 70% of the time like mine? Get the Brunton ADC and you can give it your best shot. Water flow rate is a neat feature if you kayak. I guess you could even measure your rate of pee....I don't recommend this and I'm sure this is not recommended by the manufacturer nor covered under warranty. A must have for climbers, sailors and witches that melt in the rain. | |

| The ADC Pro is a nice little piece of equipment. The picture fails to show that a 5/8 curved side release buckle attaches it to its adjustable lanyard. Like any other serious data collector, it is not intuitive and you must read the manual, especially for features requiring a button being held for a certain number of seconds. Like any other gizmo of this breed, the buttons only work in one direction, so if you miss your mode, go around one more time. Whatever you do, do not blow on the wind vane, as saliva could get inside and reek havoc with the electronics. If you must blow on it, cover the sensor openings in the cutout. | The Kestrel handhelds are standard. I haven't tried the Bruntons, but I decided to buy the Kestrel 4000 after encountering a few negative reviews about the ADC line from Brunton mostly revolving around the insensitive/cold-intolerant wheel. The 4000's been dandy. | |
