"multi purpose mirror"  05/17/12

This compass is a good quality build. It always goes with us on our backpack trips and the mirror also doubles function for navigation but also for my wife when she needs to see to put her contact lenses on. Saves space, lightweight. A must have in the backcountry!!

"If you know how to use it you won't get lost. If you don't, you can at least throw it at a bear."  09/28/11

Really happy with this compass. It has got a lot of useful features on it, and I feel it really brings out the color of my eyes. Everything works smoothly and it feels like solid construction. It's good to know you have a good quality compass when you get out into the wilderness. It definitely has come in handy.

"Precision Instrument"  09/30/09

It's a zonking great compass. The only complaint I might have about the compass is that it's a bit of overkill but it's super nice and I don't regret getting it for a second. The string it comes with kept it on my backpack just fine and while I was following a very well marked trail with a lot of tree cover I liked being able to pop open the cover and make sure I knew were I was. The needle moves fast and free and the entire instrument just feels well crafted and precise.

"Great all around compass"  06/22/09

The compass is a great buy. I use it while hiking or going climbing. Very useful, large enough to measure almost any mile on map, yet small enough to keep it compact the lanyard that it comes I attached to the front of my pack. This is an awesome product that I would reccommend to anybody

"There is a reason it is used by search and rescue members"  05/04/09

This compass is awesome. It is easy to use and comes with instructions for those who are less familiar with navigating. compact, lightweight, and worth every penny.
