The Bonfire Fusion Strobe Women's Snowboard Jacket is the perfect all-weather Puff! Imagine a Broadway play about a jacket from the Outback; come to live in the big city. It arrives (filled with duck down and mesh-backed venting) onto the gritty landscape of the high-rise apartment it's forced to live in. The performance opens on an exterior view of a ten-story walk up a girl with a snowboard in her hand packs a little bump in front of the handrail just outside the bottom lobby door.

"My best friend on the coldest, nastiest days."

I bought this coat about a month ago, but waited to put it to the test to write my review. Today was 14 with high winds, and I rode the slowest chairlift on the mid-Atlantic all the way to the top. Exposed skin aside, I stayed warm and cozy all day. I also wore it in the rain the other day, and the waterproofing seemed great. The snaps on the powder skirt are meant to go on Bonfire pants, but they snap in just fine to my Oakleys. The number/size/location of pockets is perfect, especially the goggle pocket, which helps with not leaving your goggles in the bar. The hood seems a little small, but I have a big head, and I guess it keeps you warmer if its snug. A helmet will definitely not fit.
Got this as a gift for our babysitter who doesn't have a winter coat, and has been wearing her boyfriend's work parka/slicker to our house (which in and of itself isn't bad, but the boyfriend works for a garbage hauler). She appreciated the light weight of the coat, and the pockets are just plan fun.
