The Black Diamond Women's Trail Pro Shock Trekking Poles are lightweight trekking poles for backpacking adventures. When the mountains are relentless, a little shock absorption for your hands is just the ticket for making a great trip even more awesome. Take some of the stress off your feet by using trekking poles, and the 4-stage Control Shock Technology dampens the rocky terrain at your wrists. The aluminum/carbon poles are incredibly lightweight and the foam grip wicks moisture to ensure your hand won't slip mid-hike. Double FlickLock® Pro ensure quick and easy adjustments, whether you're tucking them away for a hands-on scramble or just lengthening the height for a downhill section.
FEATURES of the Black Diamond Women's Trail Pro Shock Trekking Poles-Pair
Our lightweight, women’s-specific trekking pole with built-in shock absorbing technology and the simple security of FlickLock Pro.
FlickLock Pro is the evolution of the trusted FlickLock design. The benefits that made our classic FlickLock designthe best pole-locking mechanism on the market remain: it’s secure, fast and easy to use. The FlickLock Pro’slow-profile, stainless steel design, however, provides a dramatic improvement in quality, feel and clamping force.
If the product name has the word "pair" in it, that means it comes with TWO trekking poles. If the product name says "single" or has options to select a size, it means that particular style only comes with ONE trekking pole. Sorry to be so confusing. Please don't hate me.

Light and adjustableThis is gift for a friend. It is shock absorbing, good for the knees and shoulder, especially for backpack hiking. It is easy to adjust to comfortable size, set tight and won't slip. The handle is made in nice material, very fit to hold and support. She loves this pole!
I am interested in these trekking poles. I am a female and approximately 5'9. Will these be ok for my height or should I be looking at the mens versus the womans poles?

These poles extend to 49" at their longest, so it would depend on how long your arms are. These may work, but you can definitely take a look at some Men's poles as well if you feel that these will not be long enough.
