Somewhat Fragile, Fixed LengthI'm not impressed with these after a year or so. I broke one of them descending normally and repair is not possible. The grip is OK and I love the straps, but they do vibrate a lot on impact which can irritate nerves after several hours nonstop. Fixed length is also annoying but I found that you can buy longer for descents and then collapse the grip for a shorter ascending length if necessary. I'm switching over to Leki rather than replacing my broken BD pole.
