The Turbo Ice Screws by Black Diamond with the same design as the Turbo Express, the Turbo Ice Screws have a traditional hanger that lays flat for easy racking.
DECENT FEATURES of the Black Diamond Turbo Ice Screws
Advanced tooth geometry for easier starting and faster placements
When these puppies were on sale, they are cheap and the quality is good. Great way to expand on the ice screw setup. BD protection is always good quality.I will be buying more of these when my budget permits. Same shaft as the Express.
Black Diamond makes the best ice screws on the market. They're easy to place, light, and sharp. I prefer the Turbo Express, for its ease of placement, but the basic Turbo is half the price. For those who do less ice climbing or are on a budget, these will do a great job. I recommend the 16cm length for all-around use.
"Cheap and light, what more do you want."

These things are great. they are cheap and light and they aren't difficult to place. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a good basic screw.
...a great screw! It's light weight, stacks very well, and goes in clean, easy, and solid. It's not as fast as the turbo express but if you're looking to save a few bucks it's an amazing alternative. One's rack should be nothing but BD Turbos!!!
"Great and simple screw for a great price!"

The turbos are a great screw by a great company. The heads are rounded off enough to where you can crank them pretty easily with the palm of your glove. Their shape allows them to rack pretty nicely with several screws on one biner. The angle of the head also gives you a pretty good idea as to which angle you should screw in the screw. All in all I'm happy with my Turbos!
"Drive in where they will. And how desired fast!"

Skilful considered stuff, useful, super shaped, drive in where they will. And how desired fast! Thanks for conical inner surface, core do not stay in screw, and easy to shake it out.
"Great all around screw, and not too pricy"

A great screw. Black Diamond is the leader in ice screws. They go in very fast and do not weigh too much. However, I would recomend getting the Turbos if you are on more vertical terrain simply because of the ease of use.
