Rated 3 out of 5 by from must wear gloves Used these poles for 2 weeks in the Cascades with 65lb pack, both as trekking poles and self-belay in low angle snow. Were very sturdy and was confident in their strength. Length is clearly written along shaft making it quick and easy to adjust to your desired settings. 3 part pole makes for long range of adjustments, and compacts very short for easy storage. As with many poles, the grips were not very comfortable without a liner/shell glove to prevent blistering. I will continue to use these poles

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You cant argue with success! Heres the truth. I bought them and then had a friend try and out do me by buying ultra light carbon fiber fancy swanky poles. Her poles where incredibly light, yup. But once i set the length on mine, i didnt have to touch them again. She struggled with the telescopic feature not tightening, again and again and again,,,, Buy these poles, set it and forget it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best poles I have ever used I love these poles. I've owned 2 pairs and they are very solid. I've subjected them to a lot of abuse during winter climbs and they showed no sign of issues. I also really like the double length handle grip as it allows you to adjust for ascending/descending and different slopes on the fly without having to stop to change the pole length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't ask for anything better I can't say enough good things about these poles. The flip locks work well, unlike some other poles I have seen. My pair has taken tons of abuse and still going strong. I like the trip with or without gloves and I love the extended grip. Not the lightest poles around but I values sturdiness over low weight for this type of equipment.
