FEATURES of the Black Diamond Trail Pro Trekking Poles-Pair
Combining the adjustment ease and security of FlickLock Pro with excellent balance, the Trail Pro offers affordable performance.
FlickLock Pro is the evolution of our trusted FlickLock design. The benefits that made our classic FlickLock design the best pole-locking mechanism on the market remain: it’s secure, fast and easy to use. The FlickLock Pro’s low-profile, stainless steel design, however, provides a dramatic improvement in quality, feel and clamping force.
If the product name has the word "pair" in it, that means it comes with TWO trekking poles. If the product name says "single" or has options to select a size, it means that particular style only comes with ONE trekking pole. Sorry to be so confusing. Please don't hate me.

Fantastic for the price pointIf you can't afford the carbon upgrade and need a 4-season pole, these are the best money can buy! I have not taken them out on snow yet, but anticipate the need for the snow baskets for spring ascents in the Oregon Cascades. I broke my back and heel in a climbing accident this past winter and these have helped me stay active in my recovery. I lead backpacking trips for a living and wouldn't go out without these trekking poles. The updated flick lock pro is a metal and plastic construction so they seem more durable than the all plastic flick lock mechanisms. I generally don't adjust my poles while hiking so having an extended grip is necessary for terrain changes. If you just need a summer or shoulder season trekking pole consider a three-season pole for weight savings. However, if you are looking for an affordable 4-season pole you can't go wrong with these!
