Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm loving this rope bag! This is my first rope bag so I don't have any expectations to match from a previous purchase. I think overall this is a really nice quality bag. My Sterling Rope Evolution Velocity 9.8mm Rope fits great in this and I have room for some extra stuff (bottles of water or snacks if I run out of room in my bag). I've put shoes/helmet in there too before but try to keep it just rope. Either way, fits everything well. I love the fold out and it is a good size area for that rope I have. The strap for carrying is comfortable and fits across the body well even with my backup on. I'd recommend this as an affordable and quality product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from super roomy rope bag Loving this bag... I use it with a 60m 10.1 rope and there's plenty of room left for a larger rope. I have stashed my shoes and chalk bag in it to keep all of the dirty stuff together and then use a relatively small pack to carry the rest of my gear. ,,,,If you carry a large pack and are looking for the smallest, lightest rope bag, this is probably not for you.,,,,The strap is padded and comfy on a longer hike. The design of the chute allows easy and quick packing of your rope, whether you want to use it as a chute to slide your rope in, or you can wrap it in the tarp and stuff it. The tarp is larger enough that I almost always hit it when pulling the rope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Rope Bag On The Market! The rope bag is fantastic for my uses. Very lightweight, large tarp and easy to pack. I personally don't use my rope bag to carry anything other than my rope. Furthermore, I always put my rope bag inside my daypack to carry to and from the crag. I like the balance afforded by a purpose built pack rather than just having the rope bag slung over my shoulder. As such, I don't need anything built to carry anything more than 10-11lbs of rope. On easy approaches, I'll take this out of my pack to let someone else carry it if they aren't carrying any gear. for that purpose, the shoulder strap works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag with plenty of room to spare... So, took this bag out for a day at the mountain..and the mountain was closed...tried an alternate route..and that was closed too, and all the while, this bag was great. It held my 70m rope, shoes and harness. Love the fully sew-in tarp. Love it. Now, I know some folks may not like the messenger style, but I have found that if you sling the strap over both your shoulders, resting it on your backpack with your extra gear, the bag naturally falls against your chest. Make a quick cinch on both sides and its an ease to carry, especially through the scrub and grass here in Texas. A great buy at a great price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its nice to carry a backpack and a separate rope bag, great tarp, and looks great My 60m rope fits perfectly with room for some gear or a harness if I am feeling ambitious. I have the orange bag, and the color is beautiful. On a more practical note, the tarp is great. It is certainly big enough. the strap is nice and thick, so it doesn't hurt to carry, unless it's a hike out to the crag. Then it is a bit of a pain. For longer hikes I seem to throw the strap over my shoulder then carry it like a baby... or a sack of potatoes. I do like being able to carry a full pack, that is not over taken by a rope, so I personally find not having a "climbing pack," to work the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Whatcha need her for? The bag itself Is nice and easy to use. The straps sinch up tight easily and stay that way. The tarp is nice and large and has great loops on the corners for steakin it down. (I normally just put rocks on it) I have used this directly on snow and had no problem with seepage.,,I was surprised a few times when the rope tried to jail break and got about half way out. Now I had them tight already obviously but if you're like me and don't have a problem breaking brush and get really excited while thinking of climbing then make sure they are tight. I recommend the BD Super Chute Rope Bag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like it alot. Rope stays tangle free. Compresses Nice. Lots of room. 70m rope + everything else! At first I didn't know if I was going to like the whole "Chute" thing. Meaning the tarp is sewn into the bag so that is funnels the rope into the bag when you are packing things up. But it turns out to be nice... but funnels some unwanted debris also. Just shake out the bag before you pull your rope off the wall... No Problem. ,,,,Also top closes nice and the whole that compresses well. Lots of room for everything. I have put my 70m rope, 15 quick draws, harness, shoes, chalk bag, etc, In this thing with ease. ,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Clean Rope is Worth the Cash I went without a rope back for a while (poor college student) and my rope's gotten a bit dirty, so I invested in this little gem. I was surprised how small it rolled up for storage, and how much it held when in use. I fit my 60m rope, 20+ quickdraws, cordelettes, slings, 7 dense carabiners, eno hammock, and webbing in it, with still room to spare. Not to mention the tarp is a great size. If you are trying to get good quality for a low price, don't hesitate getting this bag. This bag is the bomb.
