Great tool, great priceBeen using these tools for the last year and have about 25 days on them. Loving them more and more every time I get out, so much that I hardly use my Quarks any more. They are great for dry tooling, slabs, steep ice....you name it! Really like how they are stable when dry tooling and they are great in thin cracks. Good clearance on bulges and i like how easy it is to match hands and choke up on the shaft. Good sized handle that I find keeps me from over gripping. Hands tend to stay warmer using these tools - don't know if it the fatter handle or the insulating properties of the grip material but I am not complaining. Get the, you will love 'em!

Great beginner Leashless tool that likes to swingThese tools weigh about the same as my friends older Vipers, with a similar swing feel. Compared to the Vipers, these tools have more knuckle clearance, a slightly more aggressive curve to the shaft and the grip is very natural with much easier hand matches compared to the vipers.,,The only time I preferred my friends Vipers was on a longer route where I felt more secure with the leashes.,,Dry tooling worked with the angle of the tool putting my arms in a comfortable position. The picks worked just fine on the.,,I would recommend these to anyone who wants a leashless Viper. I would not recommend these to anyone who prefers tools like the Grivel Monsters, as these will feel too heavy.
