"Flimsy pulley with a small roller diameter"  03/20/09

The only pulley BD makes is unfortunately inadequate for most big wall gear requirements. The small axle does not help to significantly reduce friction therefore simply being extra weight on the harness.

"Moosejaw knows how to interact with its customers the bottom line is I will buy products from them."  07/25/06

Good pulley for the price. Watch out this nylon wheel can get in a bind which stops the wheel and can burn a flat spot on the wheel it self. If you want something that will last spend the extra 40 and get a pulley with a metal wheel and bearings.

"Its a pulley."  04/29/06

Definitely a minimalist sort of thing, the pulley is exactly what your paying for. Its light, simple, and works just as it should - nothing more, nothing less. Dont expect it to cook your breakfast.

"Thanks to the Moose, we can run our caboose!!!"  03/16/06

If all goes well, I'll upgrade from "Big Ups" to "Love It" after installation. The Black Diamond Pulleys I ordered are intended to help the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders make our semifores function again. We recently refurbished them, replacing all wood components, refinishing the metals, and replacing the lenses. The semifores were used to control train movement at the Vienna, VA Washington and Old Dominion train station. Once we figure out the best way to install them we'll be "Happy Railroaders!"
