Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for your first set of draws! I got this six pack as my first pack of quick draws, and I'm extremely happy with them. I find that the wire gates are way easier to clip than the bent gates, and I haven't had any problems clipping these. They're lightweight, and presumably strong and sturdy - I've taken many a whipper on them and have yet to fall to my untimely death. I completed my sport rack with some higher end draws, which I'll admit are noticeably better than these, but hey, they don't claim to be the best of the best. If you're putting together your first sport rack and aren't diving into swimming pools of money like Scrooge McDuck, these are the way to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, inexpensive, and bomb proof. I bought my first set of these almost three years ago and they are still in good shape. I have added 10 or more to my rack at this point. I just absolutely love these draws. They go on sale often and already are a great price to start. They have to be one of the most popular draws. I see people everywhere I go climbing on these. I trust them with my life and the lives of many loved ones. I would not do so if I had any skepticism. Not the most light weight when you get a full rack on your belt, but they are easy to hang and a breeze to clip. For the cost they are my favorite on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best first set of draws If you're looking to get a lot of draws fast on the cheap, this is a great way to go. These quickdraws are very durable, and are relatively lightweight. The quality on them is also years ahead of some of the competitors - all Black Diamond quickdraw setups are great. If you're really tight on cash, the freewire draws from Black Diamond are also great. The only annoying thing about them is that the dogbone is very wide open on the bolt-end of the quickdraw, making them loose and floppy. Overall though, they are a little cheaper and they are just as safe. You can't go wrong with these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totes great set of draws, especially for the price, k? These were my first new set of draws, and definitely don't regret the purchase. I was hoping to get full wire gate draws but we all know how expensive those run. These are a great balance if you're looking for something that won't break the bank but will also be affordable. I've actually grown to love the different gates - it makes it obvious which side has the stopper in it rather than relying only on color. Speaking of the stopper, its great and keeps the biner oriented the right way, which is a must on draws these days. Overall a solid purchase and one I will never regret!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first set - Cheap, durable, safe... Why get anything else? These were my first set of climbing draws, and I love them. Thinking about getting another set just so that I can climb higher routes. I've climbed with these mostly in the local gym and a little outside. They are small, lightweight, and are easy to pack when you have little room in your backpack. Love the color, feel, and pretty much everything about them. I've trusted my life and the lives of other people on them and am totally confident that they are life-trustworthy. Buy a couple sets, and I bet they will last you a long while. Good for beginners, intermediate, and experts - If you are contemplating buying them, or looking for a first set, BUY them!!! Well worth it. And if you don't want them, I'll take them off your hands :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing draws for the price. Seriously great product from BD I don't know how to talk these quick draws up any more... they are extremely light weight, you get the key-lock on top and the wire-gate for easy clipping... the wire gates have a nice lip at the mouth that the rope fits in nicely before pressure is applied to get the rope completely clipped in. I plan on getting a set of the positron, and having this set to compare and see how i like each. But as far as bang for buck goes, i don't see how anyone could go wrong picking up these guys. Happy Climbing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set of draws I work for the state teaching a rock climbing class. The previous set of bd draws we had lasted 5 years and are still good, we had to purchase a new set because we had to many participants. I prefer these new draws to the old because of the wieght. The 12cm work great for the climbs we take our classes to. Personally I would like them around 14 for me. Overall they do their job and have saved my butt at least twice. If they can hold a 200 pound male, they are good in my book. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I fall on them. I'm still here. Good draw at a good price. Other draws are 'nicer' they clip a little better and they're lighter. But these are the economy line draws and despite that they do a great job for the cragging days. Best to get them on sale or with a little discount to make them that much better. I'm happy that I decided to purchase them over a year ago and they're still holding up fine. All in all I would recommend them to a friend and I'd let my friends whip on mine with a clean conscience.
