"It is what it is" 02/08/12

I bought this as a replacement for my old, tired, and worn out black diamond gear sling. I haven't had a chance to climb with it, but here's what I think upon first inspection: It's snug - doesn't have nearly as much adjustability/length as my old sling. The padded section isn't as wide, and there's less padding altogether. It feels like thin eva foam.. That being said, I'll use it, and I'm sure it will work well. I like the design more than metolius' or camp's. This time around, it's blue, not purple.

"BD Padded Gear Sling" 05/03/11

This is a great sling that has lots of extra loops on the shoulders for extra hauling. It is comfortable when fully loaded. Would recommend to everyone.

It's adjustable, it has places to clip extras on top of the padding and it'll hold a ton of gear!

"It is as with all BD gear, well made, and works like a charm then you racking up on C4s in all numbe" 03/27/08

I just bought my second BD gear sling, you do not see them very often on trad climbers in Sweden. I can't understand why - they are perfect, adjustable makes it easy to switch between you and your friend, no matter what you and you friend differ in length. It actually makes it possible to carry you whole rack - nuts, hex and camalots in all sizes without even notice the extra weight.
