Not the lightest out there but it's great for a huge variety of uses. Simple, easy to use. I always carry a few when I'm on a trip - they tend to come in handy.

"These carabiners do carabiner things." 04/09/13

Odered four of them for setting up top ropes on anchors and trees. The worked great. A little heavy if you're using them on a rack but the weight is worth the reasonable price.

"Good Carabiner, Good price" 07/27/12

It's your standard carabiner, great for securing lines and clipping gear onto a bag quickly. It is pretty lightweight, but is also plenty strong enough for anything you could throw at it. I am currently using four of them for a primitive slackline pulley-rig system. They work great at keeping the webbing tight and I have not seen any signs of deformity or damage yet, despite the constant strain. Even though they are not designed for tri-loading, they still hold great on the slings.I also really like the gate on this carabiner. It feels very secure and closes quite snappy(the wiregate Black Diamond Ovals felt like crap). And while it looks a bit boring, you really cant beat the price.

"great everyday carabiner" 03/30/12

must have for anybody who loves the outdoors. the carabiners comes in usefull for many different things. it's not too heavy to carry on your pack for a day or extended trip

"Great product. Worked as advertised!" 10/18/11

I used these carabiners for general glacier travel, crevasse rescue training, and a bit of ice climbing on Mt. Rainier in june, and they performed as advertised, which is what you expect from climbing gear. I had no problems with them locking up due to ice.Would definitely recommend.

"Classic Oval" 09/08/11

No surprises, no frills, classic oval carabiner. Exactly as advertised and just what I wanted. Moosejaw, on another note, the spell check for this review does not recognize the word carabiner or Moosejaw.
