"Go to for a personal tether biner." 04/01/13

Perfect size and weight for a personal tether biner, and with the snagless nose makes it the go to for small biner locking duties.

"Great small compact" 12/26/12

These are great use them on my top rope anchor system, never had a problem with them gate opens wide enough for most uses you can throw at it. Strong lite and reasonably priced.

Pretty much the same as the positron but purple. I would go with the cheaper positron next time because is see no advantage these have over them.

It's light, easy to lock, and great color. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for smaller locking carabiners.

"really impressed" 03/03/12

The color is distinguishable. It's fairly light. My favorite feature, however, is the ability to lock or unlock the biner with a single flick of my thumb. Don't worry, when it's locked, you have to put some force on the screwgate before it gives.

Many people in the midwest here are scared of getting something that is of not ordinary color, but when you can get a super light beanier with a color u can't get mixed up with someone else's, you've got to jump on it!

"buy them you'll love them" 01/10/12

These carabiners have been slowly replacing my older larger locking beaners because they are lighter smaller and very easy to use. They store away very nicely on your rack. I haven't had any problems with the nose of the gate catching on slings or my harness while removing it. the screw runs smooth and locks secure. Its nice to have a rack that doesn't weight a small ton anymore after upgrading hardware. Keep but the good work BD.

What a nifty little carabiner! The color is fresh and sure it's a little smaller than standard carabiners, but this little thing has game. Buy it, you won't regret it. I want more.

"Decent biner" 06/20/11

For the price the Nitron can't be beat. I ordered one to test it out this spring and liked it enough to order more. I use it primarily for setting up top rope anchors so weight isn't really a factor, but this biner is super light for a screwgate. The Nitron has definitely has a place in my rack. One note, don't order this expecting something like the piece of art like the Petzl Am'D, order it expecting a great, cheap carabiner and you won't be disappointed. Also, my girlfriend loves the color.

"Great Locker!" 05/05/11

I got a few of these bad boys to make anchors with, and I'm definitely pleased. They're lightweight and effective, and the price is fair. I have to say, the best thing about them is the sexy purple color. You'll look like royalty with a few of these babies clipped to your gear loops while your scending some 5.12s, that's for sure!
