I really dig this pack for all sorts of things. This is a great pack. It's super versatile. I use it for traveling and commuting mostly, but I also managed to stuff this thing with Ice tools, crampons, extra layers, food, a stove and pot, and a bivy for a day out ice climbing. It handled the weight, with a rope draped over the top really well! I've also used this for a three day UL backpack, and it is a joy to have on your back. The hipbelt is very comfortable up to 25-30 lbs., the main compartment is cavernous - you can really stuff this thing - and the ability to hold an ice axe or two really makes this a versatile pack. The only gripe I have is that I wish the outer pocket had some stretch material to allow to hold more when the interior is full. A daisy chain on the outside would be nice too, but overall, I highly recommend this pack!
