"Awsome harness, very comfortable" 		          10/20/09
Wore this for the first time on Saturday and totally loved it. I had it on for about 3 straight hours and after putting it on practically forgot that I was wearing it (until I fell and didn't plummet to the floor). It's definitely the most comfortable harness I've worn to date. I would totally recommend this to a friend. The belay device and carabiner are wonderful as well.

"Great deal and a great starter for beginners" 		          10/20/09
Having spent the entire summer in Poland learning how to belay and climb, I quickly found out the need of a nice harness. This package I could not pass up. It is great to have a chalk bag and beaner, but let's face it...no one wants to have unnecessary pinching in places that should not be pinched. This harness is great for avoiding said pinching. Overall great product and love it!

"Newbs dream" 		          09/25/09
If you're new to climbing, get this and save some money. I bought this and still use everything as my primary less the harness, which has been downgraded to my kids who don't climb as often. The harness is not the most comfortable after a full day, but it's very effective. I can't say anything bad about the ROCKLOCK biner, ATC and the bag as they are top of the class!

What more could you ask for? It comes with everything you need to get started. Its super comfortable and it is made by BD so you know the quality is there! So just buy it and get out there...if you don't you'll regret it!

"Great Combo to Get Started With" 		          05/18/09
The harness is comfy and after only a few minutes I forget I'm wearing it. Easy to put on and take off. Needless to say the ATC and carabiner are solid like all Black Diamond gear. Only one downside: chalk bag print is random. Otherwise awesome buy.

"Great combo if you are just starting out" 		          03/30/09
If you're just starting out like me get this and solid pair of shoes and you are all set to climb. The harness is comfortable and completely adjustable. I would like there to be more padding on the inner thigh but it's not terrible. Also if you plan on doing cold weather climbing I would recommend getting a size bigger to account for wearing multiple layers. I read the other reviews and about the only problem people had with the harness was with the gear loops. Those problems are fixed now, the gear loops are now downward facing and woven fabric covered by rubber tubing not all plastic anymore. This is a solid investment for the price, especially if you are just starting out.

"Great packaged deal for the casual adventurer (3 half steps short of 'extreme')" 		          12/31/08
The harness is nicely padded so you won't feel the pain for at least a few minutes of solid hang time. The legs are adjustable and have the safety option of doubling back on the buckle. The chalk comes in a sock - a real plus for those who tend to spill their magic grippy dust when hanging inverted from awkward holds. The biner and atc are solid - no cheapness there. Basically a great mid-range set - go for it!

Great package deal for anyone starting out. I followed other's advice about size. I wear a 32" and went for the large...perfect fit. It all came in a nice mesh bag to hold everything together. I love it!

"YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GET THIS!!!!" 		          10/22/08
So I'm new to rock climbing and I wasn't sure about what I should get that would suit my needs...this totally does. It has everything that you need to start climbing though I will say I haven't used the chalk bag yet (don't really see a need for it at this point). The harness feels awesome-definitely a comfortable ride. And the price. I thought about gradually buying everything as I got the money but then I said screw that and bought the package. So glad that I did. It was definitely going to cost me more in the long run. Go get it and enjoy it!
