Best Mulit-day Alpine PAck anywhere!I use to do approach hikes with my chunky hiking pack with big comfy harness on it, & often carried a small assault style pack inside. What an idiot i was!! 3+ kgs turned into 1.5kg! (im aussie). I can comfortably haul 10+ days of food and fuel and tent, then strip off hip belt and lid and cinch up compression straps! This baby can turn into 25L daypack easy!! Rope strap on top holds rope securely! Ice-axe attachments are solid! shoulder straps slip alittle on upper-stabilizers, but easy fixed with triple thread buckles.. Side-zip to access snacks!! Dont be a fool. Buy it!

Wanted to love it, but noI trained with this pack and had no problems. It's simple but equipped with all the essentials, and it's lightweight. However, when I took it on a climb, the seams came apart on the brain straps and everything fell apart. A friend of mine with the same pack on the same trip had the same issue. This was two years ago, and it may be that they have resolved the issue. Also, Black Diamond customer service was AWESOME. I've heard they're redesigning the pack, and I bet that is something that is improved. But for now, I wouldn't trust this design when it mattered.
