It has seen rain, snow, sleet and lots of sandy mud silt crap from the riverbanks.Only noticeable moisture was around the corners.Vestibules are enough for your pack and some shoes and stove.I have noticed the seam tape on the rain fly has dried out and is cracking everywhere. On my recent trip it was sleeting and raining for about 12-14 hours straight and water did drip from the top.Must re-tape.The size if perfect when deployed, enough for 2 or just 1 with all your gear inside, and a little too big I think when put in the stuff sack. That being said I have a 70 pack and this goes in there with plenty of room left for other things on a multi-day trip.I recommend this tent.
Grumbles: - Groundsheet insufficiently resilient even having used the footprint - i.e. pretty leaky.- Build quality mediocre: zippers stick and snags consistently, baggy fitting flysheet.Positives:- Outer has remained water-resistant in the heaviest downpours. It was a good value buy - I think 150 USD (around 90 ukp - back in the day) and cheaper than any other competitor by about 70 - but judging from this tent Black Diamond are best at making cams and harnesses and need a bit more practice in the tent building dept...but who knows perhaps they've improved by now.
The up and down with pack away is fast.took a few math calculations on my fingers&toes to pack away tight but i beat the object.sturdy but not as light as wished to be .and just not big enuff for 2 ..then again im 6'4 260....so im big for 1.WaterProof w/30-40mph gust!!!
I've had this tent about 5 months and so far it has served me well. I've never been camping and NOT been rained on but this tent has kept me dry long after my friends were drowning in theirs. My only complaint is the stuff sack ripped the first time I tried to put the tent away, not made out of very sturdy material.
great space to weight ratio. Took it on my last trip and was the only person in my group who was dry in the morning. only complaint is it doesn't pack down as small as I'd like
worth the price. this tent is sturdy, easy to set up and lightweight just as advertised. it is surprisingly big inside, bigger than i expected. you can comfortably sit up inside it and stretch out all you want.
This tent is amazing! I took it on my recent trip to Wy. It was lightweight, easy to set-up and take down, and fit my girlfriend and I perfectly. The rain fly was heaven sent during the nightly rain and dried relatively quickly in the morning. I totally recommend this to any backpacker looking for a light-weight, durable tent.
Great tent. Very light very strong construction. Holds up well to high winds. Dual vestibue dual doors and 30 sq. ft make it very livable. Should be a mainstay two man tent for any backcountry trip. Can easily push the far side of the third season with this tent. Very easy to set up.
"This OUTSIDE best ever tent really is the best ever."

This tent rocks. Super light, easy to set up, lots of room, two doors, great vestibules. It also held up a lot of snow when we got dumped on in the Adirondacks. Lots of mesh=no condensation buildup. The fly is so bright and cheery you almost want to be stuck inside for days on end in the rain. So far this has been a great buy. AND FREE FOOTPRINT!!!
Quick setup! This is the tent you want when setting camp in the rain. The hub/pole system is simple and quick to raise. the double fly allows for two vestibule for storage and easy egress and access.
"Definitley one of the best 3 season tents out there!"

This tent rocks! When I was looking for a new tent, having a girlfriend and a dog, I was looking for something lightweight with 2 doors and vestibules, and plenty of mesh for star gazing. Friends recommended the Hubba Hubba but it seemed kind of small to me. This tent was exactly what I was looking for! Plenty of room for 2, the packs stay under one vestibule and the pup gets to sleep under the other in bad weather.
