"Great mitten/glove for the person always using there hands"
12/02/12
I work at a camp and absolutely love this mitten/glove. My job requires me to use my hands a lot such as putting skis on a customer, hooking them up to a zipline line, or tightening up a harness which I can't really do with bulky gloves. These are great because they keep me warm and I can still do all the things I need to without taking them off.
I have always been a fan of this style of glove, unfortunately barely anyone makes them. I bought a pair last year and loved them, I subsequently lost them while doing a 14er in January (due to placing them in an unsecured pocket). I tried to replace them with other styles of glove, but I loved these so much that I had to buy another pair. I would recommend them to anyone, they are very warm down into the teens, and also allow for great dexterity with the removable finger mit piece.
"I don't know why I like mittens that turn into fingerless gloves, but I do"

I think my fascination with this type of glove goes back to being a kid, hadn't worn them in years and then I came across these. I was not disappointed, well a little bit, the magnet is shiny so when the mittens are in use you can see this circular, silver, shiny magnet looking up at you and that bugs me for some reason. That aside, these things are warm when you need them to be (read: mittens flipped down) and nimble when you want them to be (read: when you're diffusing a bomb). I got a medium, and they fit wonderfully, 6' 180 lbs, normal size hands for that type of frame I would wager so use that as a strange basis of estimation if you're looking to size up a pair of these.
bought these for my trip to the gorge recently and they worked out perfectly there. kept my fingers and hands warm will not climbing but allowed me to still be able to belay for my buddies if i needed to. i highly recommend these gloves
