"Cheap and durable gloves"  10/23/11

I have used these gloves in temperatures of up to 10F. They held up pretty well, but i could tell that they wont go much below that. Fit is abit off: if you have stubby fingers these would fit you perfect. But i got them on a sale so no complaints there!

"Not Bad For Basic Use"  02/07/11

I live in Chicago and needed a solid pair of gloves. These are good for everyday use, but I wouldn't count on them for much else. I wore them to the Bears/Patriots game which was one of the coldest games here in Chicago. I must say with the strong wind and wet snow, my finger tips began to get very cold. The guy at the store said I could use them for some minor skiing, but I'm going to look for a shell. Overall, not bad, but once wet you're in trouble.

"Too heavy for high output activities"  11/21/10

Bought these as liners for mountaineering and cold weather hiking. Didn't check them out in a store before I ordered them. They're pretty heavy so if you're going to be working hard I'd go for a lighter weight liner. They kept my hands from getting frostbite with windchill well below zero and a shell mitt over them but they were soaked through with sweat before I even realized it. In retrospect I didn't even get the screamin' barfies so I shouldn't complain but I'll be using a lighter liner in the future.

"Keeps you warm in the biting cold."  11/08/10

If you're looking for a breathable glove that is moderately insulated and windproof, this is a great choice. They aren't supposed to be waterproof or heavily insulated... expect them to soak up water if you do get rained or snowed on, but they still insulate when wet. Kept my hands warm in 5 degree wind chill with no problem, and they fit great if you have long fingers.

"Awesome lightweight glove for cold windy conditions"  12/16/09

I've used these gloves for the past year whenever it gets cold and windy. They are fleece, so they aren't meant to be water proof or resistant but they do tend to stay warm even when wet. I wear them for everything from walking the cold streets of Detroit to mountain biking in the winter to deer hunting in the cold and windy hills of Wyoming (which is equal parts hunting and hiking in the mountains in fall.) The leather palms are pretty good and there are pads on the thumb, index, and middle fingers to keep them from wearing out in those key places. No complaints so far. Use them the way they're meant to be and you'll love em too!

"Nice and warm but don't get them wet."  10/29/08

Great wind gloves but the not at all water resistant. Got caught in just a drizzle and they were soaked. Although they did stay warm even when wet.
