I've gone through three pairs of these gloves over 7 years despite trying other brands. Yes the liners inside the glove can get jumbled up but after some use the liners find their places and are rarely an issue. I've used these gloves for skiing, hiking, outdoor construction and snowball fights and have no real complaints.
I had a pair of BD Guides and they are a great cold weather glove but lack a lot in the dexterity department. I then went for these gloves and must say how disappointed I was in them. The inners stick to the outers and get completely tangled just putting them on. I had great difficulty in getting them on in blizzard conditions. You dont want this sort of problem when it is howling around you and you are perched high in the hills....enough to worry about without adding your gloves to it!! I would suggest to BD that if they made the inner with wool like the 'Guide' then there would be less drama
