Versatile InsulationI probably wear this jacket more than any other in the winter.
Anything from 0ºC & sunny to 15ºC and lightly raining.
I wish the hood had more adjustment and the zipper was the same great zipper on other BD jackets, but I guess that was a compromise for size & weight.

this jacket is fantastic. It is really hard to believe that something this light weight is as warm as it is. The weight is great, there is no weight. I would recommend this hoody as a best buy to everyone.
will this jacket be warm enough in Montana. Considering temperatures get into the negative degree.

Thanks for the question! Since the Hot Forge Hybrid Hoody is made from 70% DWR-treated goose down and 30% PrimaLoft synthetic fibers, it will be warm. I would probably wear a windproof shell over it during those negative temperatures for added protection. One suggestion is the Black Diamond Recon Shell. Hope this helps!

Hiya lumberjack hiker, thanks for your question! This jacket has a PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Down Blend, made from 70% DWR-treated goose down and 30% PrimaLoft synthetic fibers. It is not made with Gore-Tex brand, but it has a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) treatment. Hope this helps!
