"Good quality, limited use" 08/13/11

These are nice gloves and are very good quality. The downside is that there aren't too many practical uses for them. They are very light and block the wind fairly well. I initially bought them to use biking in cool weather, but the leather on the palms gets clammy after a long ride.I have used them for a bit of hiking and they do fairly well because your hands won't overheat. The best thing about these gloves is that they allow you to maintain your dexterity. I'm able to work buttons and zippers just fine while wearing them.If you manage to get these on sale like I did, great. Otherwise, the retail price is quite a bit spendier than I think they are worth.

"Great gloves as long as you're not just sitting still in the cold." 04/15/09

I've used these gloves a little over a year now. They're form-fitting, offer good dexterity, and have good (though not absolute) wind resistance. I've used them in the middle of winter snowshoe camping; they were perfect on the move when it was too cold for bare hands but I was too hot for the big gloves. They were thin and form-fitting enough to use as liners in my winter gloves during breaks. They're also wind-resistant enough to use cycling (think exposed hands at riding speeds) on cool spring and fall days. These little guys have been very useful and I've been nothing but happy with them since day one -- just don't expect to be able to sit in a snow bank all day wearing nothing but!
