Super bright, envy of the campI bought this to use on a study abroad trip to Poland. I have to admit, it was super hard to get the battery case open the first time. I had to look it up on Youtube to figure it out. Once it was all set up, though, it's a breeze to use. I mainly wanted it because it was waterproof, and it came in handy during some rainy mornings. The other researchers at the camp were envious of it because it puts out a LOT of light - almost like a car headlight. I could see for maybe 50 ft down the path while their cheaper headlamps could sometimes only see 5 ft. It weighs nothing, it's easy to use as long as you don't get a defective model, and it's waterproof. And it's not too expensive.

hard to usethis uses a touch-sensitive panel on the front of the lamp to turn it on and off. Mine did not work well. It randomly changes brightness and then doesn't respond when I try to stop it or make it bright again. I have to take it off to try to fiddle with it.
Also, it doesn't work AT ALL if you have gloves on.
I was completely disappointed, and recommend you avoid this.

Good Not GreatIf money is short. This is a decent option. Better then the energizer versions which are decent as well. If you can spare the $20. Go with the Storm. It feels better on your head and puts out a lot more light. If you are going for an extended trip go with a better light
