Revolutionary AscenderThis right here is innovation at its finest. How did none of us think of this brilliant design before? I have found with especially the old BD ascender, it is so annoying and finicky to move your fingers around to move the ascender up and let go of the thumb loop and take the ascender off of the rope. The Petzl ascenders worked better, but my thumbs would cramp up. Now this design is top-notch, the index finger design is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this ascender over any other. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth the extra money.

VersatileI have used this to ascend but my favorite use for it is to hook up to the belay line while climbing and create mechanical advantage to help a climber get to that next unreachable hold.
