The I-Tent Tent Vestibule by Black Diamond instantly adds nine square feet of additional coverage to your Black Diamond I-Tent shelter. This Black Diamond tent vestibule creates a lightweight haven for protection in stormy weather, or a welcome open-air gazebo for those warm sunny days on the mountain. We all know the Black Diamond I-Tent tent is super cool on its own, but the vestibule makes a it even more super cooler, and not only offers protection from the elements, but will also shield you from snowballs or insults launched from neighboring tents.

Ehhhh.I used this last weekend in a snow/hail storm on the continental divide in Glacier, MT. Not only does it not seal to the tent well, but the roof is fairly lenient allowing snow to build up on the vesti. The eldo is nearly bomb proof in the wind, yet it's tough to get the vesti taut enough to prevent the stakes from coming undone in a wind event with soft terrain. Finally, it should have double zippers like the eldo - giving you a chance to zip from either the top or bottom.

back to the drawing board for this puppybibler needs to rethink this one. for such stellar tents one would expect more from the vestibule. personally i think they should be sold sew on = not as an after market option. the the weak point is the seal around the tent. simply put - it lets too much weather in - and the vestibule requires nearly as much staking out as the entire I tent ( which is great)
